Hi Guys I'm trying to decide whether I should buy netflix. A lot of my friends at school have it and they watch it all the time. I know that they have a lot of good stuff on it, but I'm not sure whether its worth the price. I mean, will I really even watch that much stuff at school? What do you people that have it think of it? The only reason i'm considering it is because I found this deal where you get 10$ cash back, which is like pretty much a month free. http://www.studentrate.com/StudentRate/gatech/get-gatech-student-deals/Netflix-Student-Discounts--/0 The thing is, I know if I sign up, I'm gonna get sucked in. Should I do it?

Internet streaming is totally worth it.

Disc delivery is a mixed bag. Netflix has to wait 45 days before they can allow new releases for disc distribution. Overall, Netflix + Hulu is better than paying for Cable TV service imo.

Yes times infinity. The instant stream collection is flawless, something for everyone. Disc shipping is fine as well, unless you want new releases. Just advice to put it in advance.

If you have a TV and a streaming device of some kind it's definitely worth it.

For $8 you get a good selection of movies, and a amazing selection of tv shows.. The only reason I can see you not getting it is if your internet is capped.. Netflix will blow through that in no time.

Unless your Internet connection sucks it's worth it. When I got Netflix I canceled all of my premium channels and the only reason I didn't cancel Dish Network altogether is because I wanted to be able to continue watching shows that don't come out for several months and for my wife. The price isn't bad at all, just say goodbye to two extra value meals a month and you're set.

The best part is instant streaming. I love that. NO ads, good quality, and you can watch as much as you want. If you have a PS3, 360 or Wii and they are hooked up to the internet, you can watch Netflix through that. Or, of course, you can watch on your computer.

as an adult with a full time job, its a no brainer.

but i was poor as hell in highschool..... so with limited funds in mind, i might skip it. Since there are other ways to watch media (of which i disavow all knowledge).... but if your friends have xbox live and can voice chat during the movie... its pretty fun.

Awesome service. I can watch on my PC, on the fly I watch off of my iPad (great during lunch breaks)

I just picked up a Roku box for my TV and it's great on thier as well. :)

I just turned off subscription for the third time. Right now the instant play isn't developed enough for me to pay the higher price. I'm trying out Red Box now to see if I like it better.

The streaming service alone is definitely worth it. Eight bucks is the price of one movie ticket where I live at the lowest price, which means that this is a no brainer if you don't have a lot of money to go to the movies everytime you want to watch something. You're guaranteed to find something good if you know what you want and that's something you don't too often at the movies.

I personally don't have it, but I did the free trial and I really enjoyed watching TV shows through my Xbox 360. My friends who have it say they really enjoy it as well.

Definitely worth it, and Netflix offers a free month trial. I choose the unlimited streaming with unlimited DVD rentals (1 DVD at a time), and I love it! The DVD usually gets mailed to my house the day after they sent it. Netflix is basically the only thing I watch now.

It's a steal for the price. I can't imagine how much money I would be spending if I were renting these films at Blockbuster. They have an extensive catalogue as well.

Considering that it's really cheap for an unlimited service, and it has nearly everything on DVD (and an acceptable number of streaming movies and TV shows) it's worth more than the 10 dollars a month.

Not to mention you can just subscribe for the streaming only for like $5 bucks I think.

Absolutly worth it. It is worth the money just for the stuff you can stream. So many good old and new movies to watch as well as tons of awesome TV shows. I just finished watching all episodes of Weeds and Sons of Anarchy and am looking for my next TV show to start. On top of all that for the lowest price you can get one newly released movie at a time sent to your house. Wicked good service. Get it.
