@Atzenkiller: not necessarily amateur. Sony could’ve buried them in legal fees. The angle Sony will take, if they do sue, is that the design of the plates themselves are copyrighted works. So, decals are okay, selling the plates is not. It’s more like if someone were to sell exact replica iPhone shells you could place on Samsung phones. Apple would have something to say about that. Or if someone sold Ferrari shells for Hondas and the were reproduced exactly, minus the symbol. Just trying to make analogies. That’s the flip side of the coin. I’d love to hear from someone who knows the law in that regard.

@thejayb: I’ve been playing on Series X and encountered one bug. A funny one at that. An NPC was on a wooden platform stuck in a walking forward animation, and it was just the base model walking around with no textures applied. Looking basically like a PS1 character. It was hilarious.

Does anyone who’s studied law come here? How much traction do these claims have? I know it depends on a lot of factors, and I haven’t seen the prophet model, but even supposing the characters were heavily inspired by other creations can they lose these suits? I’m assuming they’re after settlement money 🤷🏻‍♂️
