@louixiii: I dont think you understand what "play anywhere" even is.
Play anywhere means I buy a single copy (one itme) of a game and I can play it on the console or the PC.
In essence I buy a game one time and get 2 copies available to play on 2 different platforms.
That way I can play Forza 3 or Gears of War 4 on consoles with my console friends and then go straight to PC and play the same game there. No buying another copy, no extra fees.
To make it even sweeter my game saves and data are cloud stored and work on both platforms.
Sorry but Playstation has much bigger and more important negatives that get blown over.
No cross platform play? FU Sony. MS tried to play with you and now the xb1 and pc players can play together.
No backwards compatability? Yeah nuff said.
PS VR? Completely gimp game graphics and a total sub par experience compared to the PC VR counterparts. This is a sink hole just like your motion controllers.
PS4 Pro? Not powerful enough to do 4k but the biggest kick in the nuts is it does not offer any improvements on existing games!!!! So people are still stuck with the same crappy framerates as a regular PS4 and no visual enhancements.
Blocking mods? I know I know you just want total control and you think any freedom given is a dollar lost. Greedy f'ers.
Sony you better wake up because your going to lose massive market-share.
Microsoft has play anywhere, cross platform play, a better OS with more apps, backwards compatibility, allow mods for games, and when Scorpio comes out a console that stomps the PS4 Pro in the ground when it comes to graphical capabilities.
