@Xristophoros: I don’t care for AAA. I have a PC and PS4 for those games. The switch is great because of portability. It is awesome that I can take my switch on the go and continue on where I left off on Zelda on a long cross country flight or after a long day of meetings in my hotel room.
@shamatuu257: I play triple A games on my PS4 and PC. The switch is great because of exclusives and the portability factor. I love that I can just detach the console and take it on a business trip or to a restaurant or whatever. As for it being underpowered it’s the most powerful portable and I’ll gladly trade down power for portability.
@xantufrog: I recently was on a business trip and it was great to take my switch with me and made a 6 hour flight go by fast. My friend also brought his xbox one but couldn’t play it on the plane.
The question is to get this for PS4or Switch. Portability is nice. I love the switch as it’s small and portable and can still play it on the tv if I’m at home.
@Xristophoros: when you got money (I get 130k a year in dividends sitting on my ass) you don’t care. Unless you still live in mommy’s basement I am deciding between this, a portable Skyrim and the PSVR version. Or I might just get both.
ive been gaming before since most of you were born. The switch is a good console. Why? It’s small and compact. I laughed at this when it first came out but when I was 1800 miles away from home at a conference and being able to play a full Mario game, Zelda game on the plane was unbelievable. Made the 5 hour flight much more bearable for me. I have my PS4 but it’s not portable and a laptop isn’t too portable either. Now the big decision is Skyrim on psvr or switch
@BLKCrystilMage: I didn’t buy the switch for performance. I have a PS4 and high end PC. Aim away at a conference now and it’s nice to be able to bring along a portable that’s actually quite powerful and that I can play on the tv at home.
@risingdawn: I would agree with this. It's useless to compare raw numbers. Back in the early 80s, there were way fewer people who played video games as it was considered a niche hobby, or even a hobby for nerds. Nowadays, everyone is a "gamer" in one form or another. I mean, how many iphones have been sold and how many have played at least one game on an iphone, even though that game may be candy crush
Traded in 220 bucks worth of old games to buy the Switch and this game and to more importantly declutter. Very challenging to find all the moons. I’m taking a 6 hour flight for a conference in a few weeks and look forward to bringing this on the road with me as well.
