This reeks of a timed exclusive. The game has been in development for 100 years and must have cost a fortune, so why should Square not eventually release it on xbox and PC too and make extra money? Maybe even a scaled-down Switch version?
Not that I care much about timed exclusivity since I own both a PS4 and an Xbox X, but I wonder how much better the game would look on the X and the PS5?

Not at all, I just asked a question, which you avoided answering and that doesn't surprise me at all since you're always using the tired same old arguments to avoid acknowledging that PC has no games that take advantage of its potential. It's simply sad the state PC gaming is in right now.
