I'm guessing the research done is paid for and supported by the video games and entertainment industry. The only way to prove a link between video games and violence is to have a real life controlled experiment.

a dual analogue is not needed..have people forgotten the n64 and its single analogue stick plus 4 c - buttons for strafing in FPS games? That setup didn't make golden eye any less fun, in fact it was the bomb.

what I think they should do is have something like the asus transformer. Basically a phone that doubles up as a gaming device. The phone will have a usb connection where you attach the gamepad accessory. They can make a killing that way by charging $600 for the device on a 3 year term bahaha. $$$ in the bank!! $$$
