@karavanasam: who decides what game is for kids and what isn't? What even makes something a kids game? I'd even argue that all games are for kids. Grown men playing call of duty??
its always important to have netflix on every single device. Now your tv, last gen console, this gen console, 5 year old cell phone, nintendo DS, your kobo reader, hell even your fridge plays netflix, but its not enough until the freaking switch gets it too.
damn it....didn't want to buy the switch since zelda is on the wii u. But if metroid turns out to be even half way decent, i guess i'll have to pick up a switch
@valtair: uhh, am I the only one who remembers the immensely popular golden eye / perfect dark for the N64, which was the first to really revolutionize FPS gaming for consoles. Halo is awesome, but lets not say that it didn't take an existing formula that Nintendo already put out. Hell, If I recall correctly, MS even purchased RARE studios from Nintendo for $300 million back in 2003.
But since were talking about influential, then I agree...Halo was more influential game in terms of pop culture than golden eye was.
The real question to ask is if there will be a successor to the 3ds or if that's the switch. If the switch is a 2 in 1 device to replace the 3ds and the wii u then it would make a ton of sense to go for it.
@troll_elite: graphics? I have both a ps4 and an xbox one, and neither one really impress me. The only game that really impressed me graphics wise on consoles was uncharted 4. Halo 5 wasn't as impressive but still not bad for consoles. Bottom line, if you're complaining about graphics, then you better have a gaming PC, otherwise I can't take your complaints seriously.
