all the next gen systems will have a tough time. A ton of people will be sticking to pc gaming next gen. Its cheaper, better graphics, bigger library, more customizable, etc. PC gaming with steam is the future, console makers don't have much time left. LOL @ sony, they will go bankrupt come next gen. The only thing that will keep microsoft afloat next gen will be halo. Nintendo makes the crappiest hardware and expects people to buy it. They will also have a very difficult time.
i don't blame nintendo, consoles are a dying fad. Pretty sad since I grew up on one. Nintendo needs to transition to the pc market asap, do it first before the other console manufacturers.
i never buy nvidia cards any more, too many driver issues, and reliability problems, ie overheating and breaking down after only 3 years. AMD drivers are rock solid, and their video cards last for decades.
@jinzo9988 you could say the same about this "3d" patent. Fact is its been around since the 70's but nintendo still got sued for it. And if all those features were popular and obvious in gaming, why didnt sony think of it first?
ironic, it should be nintendo suing sony for ripping off rumble, analogue sticks,the wii mote, the new wii u pad, pretty much every idea that comes out gets ripped off by sony.
true the pc is not much ahead, the 7870 is around the 6th strongest video card this generation, only ahead by the 660ti, radeon 7950, geforce 670, geforce 680 and the video card currently sitting on top, the radeon 7970. Still all these video cards are relatively close performance wise. I will stick to PC gaming and get a wii u once the price drops. I will probably get the other consoles as well once the price drops.
and how many times can someone play madden, nhl and nba again and again year after year? I do agree on one point, that is I want nintendo to release their games on the other consoles, because they always make weak hardware. So why even bother making hardware? They may as well just focus on software, I guarantee that their game sales will double, and they will probably become bigger than EA or activision. Plus if they decided to release their games on pc.....man oh man I would love them.
