In my opinion Xbox is a far superior overall platform to PS3. PS3 may have technically superior hardware but I've yet to see significant difference. In fact, games still frequently look better on the XBox than the PS3. My PS3 stopped working about 3 months ago. I could frankly care less. I won't be buying another PS of any generation.
I liked both, but in my opinion the first game moved the bar higher and the sequel just barely clears it. The sequel seemed a bit too interested in creating the impression that you were watching a movie. Sacrificing solid bad ass gunfights for "vista" moments. Also, I'm totally not a fan of all the various vehicle chapters.. Epic, if you're reading this, ditch the silly vehicle rides. The one notable exception may be the fights on top of the Derricks or whatever those large moving platform vehicles are called. I consider the first a 10, the sequel a solid 9.
