@Jamoid @apnance @yeah_28 @almossbb @Busta Well said, however his bizarre opinions on various aspects of the gaming industry indicates to me that he is in the wrong industry.
@yeah_28 @almossbb @apnance @Busta A deaf dumb and blind octoginerian would surely have a different perspective on this game. No offense to those that suffer from such a plight, but I really wouldn't base my buying decision on their appraisal of a game. My point, many people have vastly different opinions but that difference, if not founded on something meaningful (like pithy industrial insight), is at best a meaningless distraction and worst highly detrimental to the industry.
@ooblah @apnance @Daian I don't care if your customers act like disrespectful spoiled mewling brats. When you start doing it in response that makes you and your company look both unprofessional and petty.
@Busta @almossbb That may be. On the other hand there are quite a few people, myself included, that think that McShea is out of touch with the gaming industry(see the comments to any of his editorials). The fact that his review is so far afield from the rest of the industry probably strikes a lot of these people as yet another example of this.
@Born_Lucky Seriously it is ridiculously stupid to insult the audience that pays your salary. And yes, yes we do pay their salary. Without our viewership the advertisers that pay them would go elsewhere in a hurry. As a longtime reader I find Gamespot increasingly irrelevant.
