Hello, whenever I try to play SSBB online it just stays at 'Seeking' for the rest of the players. I have left it for up to 15 minutes - stays at seeking. Is this a common problem, searching online I only really found information dating back to the US release... (I am in Europe ;)) So any information, whether it is my fault or Nintendo's would be appreciated. I would rather not have to put it back in it's box so quickly (got it friday)... :/

Thank you in advance

Very good post, made me laugh (especially those blue shell images). Would probably add GTA:SA flying missions, Burnout 3 of those extreme time limit races (forget actual name), that shooting mission in Jak 2 (if you've played it I'm sure you know which mission I'm talking about), and who can let the 2nd half of Far Cry go by... :)

(I haven't read all replies).

Spore will sell OK, I would imagine, but it doesn't say Sims: Creatures or anything. Of course I'm pulling out numbers here, but I would estimate at least 50% of people that bought the Sims haven't heard of spore, or have no idea it's from the same makers. Sims appealed to the casual, non-gamer, the kind of person that doesn't care about new releases or keep informed about games, if we are being honest. Sims 3 on the other han, that will do well with the casual market, because everyone knows about the Sims franchise.

SC2 will sell massively in certain areas (Korea), but I would imagine it doesn't do that much better than your average EA release. I'm wont saying it won't do very well after awhile, but don't expect any records broken in the first weekend.

Will either of these outsell GTA:IV? Of course not. Maybe in certain areas but definitely not world wide, unless Blizzard rename it GTA:Starcraft or start handing cash out with every sale.

[QUOTE="figo16v"]needs some tweaking but otherwise its really good. I expect it to get better in the full game 8.5- 9.1 kinda range is my expectationsAzurathe

PS3 exclusive. Subtract 1.0 points and youll have the GS score.

I don't think losing points will have anything to do with being GS & and a PS3 game.

My thoughts on the demo:

Graphics: Not as good as they should have been quite honestly, the scenery actually reminded me of Far Cry (albiet on high). The character models are actually quite good, especially after a nectar take. At least it is all stable.

Gameplay: Nothing special, only noticable difference with nectar is glow from enemies and less damage; for what is made out to be a core aspect of the gameplay, it's really just an overglorified power-up. To compare I prefer Crysis on this front, a variety of powers, they can dramatically change gameplay, and in a number of cases don't make the game alot easier. AI seemed abit basic, occasionally saw my team mates running into each other and getting stuck in the environment, but the enemy managed to hit me a number of times (on normal).

Sound: The dialogue was atrocious, very Hollywood, american-ised, and yet tryed to have emotion. Should either go full out camp, or actually try to be serious. (They should take the pilot bit out before release). Guns and such seemed fine.

Other points: I didn't really like the default controls, but can easily change them so no biggy. I never saw anyone overdose, and become enraged; taken out or absent from demo.

It's not fair to rate the whole game from a demo, but I doubt I would give it higher than a 7. If you enjoy it though, that's fine, if it does get average reviews please try not to be too surprised :/

I think it is a pretty damn good game, certainly it deserves at least 1.0 more than the gamespot score. Only main flaw really is it's repetitiveness, though for this genre it is to be expected, and weapons add a lot of variety :)

Greetings, hopefully someone out there can answer my question. I have not had my PS3 for long (or to put in other words have not spent a long time on it), anyway I found setting up a PSN account quite simple. Now to my question, are the avatars provided the only things available? No downloadable ones, or ones I can get from games I have? Hopefully no one will mind me saying but I rather like the avatar features of my X360 (although it is unfortunate you have to pay for alot). I really don't like any of the (44*5)+3) avatars available, though the one I am using now (gas mask guy from killzone) I can at least perservere with.

Sorry if this is a common question, I didn't see anything on the main page and Gamespot's search isn't "compatible" with me ;)
