uh...yeah....it's on Wii. don't remember the numbers, but the wii doesn't do great resolutions and graphics and such. you're gunna get jaggies.

hell, to my knowledge all the systems still have the occassional jaggies, except computers. especially on a big screen.

it plays like any other mario game out there to me, just with about 50,000,000 new twists added :Pthe gravity stuff makes it an entirely new experience from any other mario games. sure, it's still the same sort of gameplay, but pretty much all platformers are the same at their core, it's just how you implement the mechanics. in galaxy, they're implemented extremely well.

perhaps you've just grown out of your taste for platformers. try finding another platformer game to see if you like it, maybe.

Incredible gameplay? So many possibilities? Right. The game operates under the illusion of free roaming, but it's actually very linear. Most of the time you're presented with two options: Travel high or travel low. Other than the suit (which you find out isn't even really secret or rare since the koreans have a crapload of them), it's really just an ordinary fps.

It's pretty though, and that's what people seem to care most about.

huh? the games not out yet, how would you know if the koreans have a bunch of the suits? or if it gets linear? hell, the demo was extremely NON-linear. I played through it at least 6 different ways with different paths, and I didn't even take any of the way out of the way paths......seriously, what are you even talking about?

the game is sweet but its more for eye candy gurus than anything, expect this game to recieve very high scores from everyone because crytek paid them to do so

DrJ0NES
you should check out the demo. the gameplay is actually really revolutionary. the physics and the fine-detail of the bushes makes the game really fun to play just playing through the demo. assuming GS is right and the story doesn't completely suck, it'll be a good game. the only real down side to it is that there's not hardware capable of running it on max right now, which was stupid of them. aside from that bad choice, though, it's actually really fun (I'm basing this completely on the demo, btw. as long as the full game keeps the story good, the game'll be great).

oh get off it guys. this site and a few others I've seen also have it listed as the 16th, others have it listed as the 14th. is it really that retarded to be confused? seriously, get over yourselves.

and to answer the question, EBGames is shipping on the 13th, so that means at least there it's out the 14th for certain.

single-player on COD4, while amazingly fun, is also amazingly short. don't waste your money on the game if you can't do multiplayer at all.

crysis,however,shouldprovetobealengthysingle-player,plusit'llhavethesandboxmode.

in general the reviews here are fairly trust-worthy, though quite a bit of reviews are over-hyped nonsense that the reviewers have to post or get flamed more than is necessary, but it's generally pretty easy to pick those games out. for the rest of the games, I basically just look here to see what the pros and cons of the game were and what the overall score was to give me a general idea of what the game is like. I've found I enjoy games that get above a 7.0 most of the time if they sound good to me, so I typically avoid anything lower than 7/10 unless someone else has told me it's better than the review makes it seems.
