It wouldn't be much of a surprise since it has allready been confirmed as online for over a year.mattyftmno, they said they wanted to make it online, and there was a ton of speculation. this is the first time it's been confirmed.

Dark Messiah even more than Oblivion for me. with Oblivion I'd already played Morrowind, so I knew not to expect to much of what I was really looking for (Morrowind Pwned, but I couldn't get into the story enough to bother, so I just goofed off with the game). Dark Messiah, however, looked to be Half Life 2 but with magic and character customization and such. what I got was an overly short game with a god-aweful story line so full of cheese it had to have taken 30+ cows to complete. the gameplay was completely gimmicky and the customization was more shallow than the average drunk's puddle of sidewalk piss. Dark Messiah was a fun concept but it was only about an hour of fun at most.
I'm surprised that Kid Icarus wasn't mentionned! With Pit coming to SSBB It's gotta be in the plans!remirousseaunone of the oldies in SSBM got new games after being in that game. why would pit get something with this one?
I'd love to see ratings for indy games, but it's just not practical. sites like gamespot get nothing from doing a review for it, and it would take a TON of time. way too many indy games to even take pick of the best and review only those. these types of sites already have their hands full, but could you imagine the list of games on their agenda the next 4 months if they had to do indy games as well? not to mention having to play ALL indy games just to make a choice of the best.
[QUOTE="Weddum"]Playing with people who always HAVE to win is boring as sin.

In the immortal words of Herm Edwards
"You play to win the game"
this is entirely accurate. everyone plays a game, no matter what the game is, to win the game. winning at something makes us feel good about ourselves on some level or another. the difference, however, is that while some people do want to win, their primary goal is to enjoy the experience. if they win, it is an added joy, and they do what they can to achieve that goal. others, however, refuse to accept loss. they will do everything within their power to hinder others and exploit every aspect of the game that they can in order to win. for these people, it's either "win or go home". these people have no problem using cheap tricks and gimmicks to win, therefore ruining the experience of those who simply want to enjoy their time playing the game.I'll use an example of baseball. lots of people enjoy baseball, and obviously everyone enjoys winning more than losing. now, imagine you're playing a friendly game of baseball with a group of friends or schoolmates. turns out, you're the best player on both teams. after you hit the ball far out into the back of the field, one of the outfielders chunks the ball at an extremely high speed and intentionally pegs you in the kneecap. your knee buckles, turns a nasty color and probably breaks. you can no longer play, and therefore the other team wins. is this ok? is this all part of the game? how about professional baseball players? how much do you respect the ones proven to have used Steroids? is that fair? is that all part of the game?
