If you want SP that will last, COD4 is not the place to go. Crysis should be very replayable especially if you learn how to use the sandbox editor 2, you will only be limited to your imagination. If you can get acces to the internet for a short amount of time to DL small files go to www.crymod.com and get user made maps.
COD4 is one of the best FPS games I have ever played, and I am still playing multi-player and trying to unlock things in Single-Player. Crysis is too unforgiving to be muchfun, and it will probably end up boring and dry like Farcry. Dont flame me, I just think COD4 is probably a better experience than Crysis will be. I can tell a lot from a demo. As for you though, I'd naturally recommend COD4, but wait until Crysis comes out for a review.
Well, well, another CoD4 and Crysis comparison poll. These things always end up in a laughable landslide for Crysis. *Sigh* Oh well, at least it's for a recommendation this time.

CoD's campaign is frikin' SHORT, it's great, but it's like 6 hours, I could skip my classes and beat that, and then still have time to go out, and hang out with my friends the rest of the day.
I've played more hours in the crysis demo then the CoD4 campaign.
COD4 rocks SP is fun as hell...Crysis who knows yet the demo looked amazin and it played nicely....With no online you might wanna get crysis since its more of a SP game. The crysis beta MP was fun but eh not that amazing overall
Crysis for single player. The minimum specs for crysis are quite low but if you want the really nice graphics you need an 8 series graphics card and dual core. and 2gb of ram. Check the other threads though - there are lots.
i say wait for crysis review 1st b4 buying it who knows crysis is anothe example of hellgate london - a big disappointment just my personal opinion,no offence 2 any people
