you actually have a decent system there are 3 changes that need to be made.

1) get 2 more gb of ram

2) get a new psu to replace your old one

3) get a enw gpu such as say an hd 5770 or gtx 550ti

4) go play games like bfbc2, crysis: warhead, gta IV: EFLC, & metro 2033 on high

Fifa and CoD have major online problems even when it's unrestricted, I think CoD is getting a fix but people have been complaining about Fifa since it came out and there have been no signs of change.

I read a lot of Stephen King when I was that age, he's a great author for teenagers.
