LOL this never stops being hilarious, there are several games out now that make MGS look like a Launch Title. Okay maybe thats an exaggeration... but take the fanboy goggles off and you'll see MGS's visuals are not that special.... in fact in places its down right ugly.

While I know the production values on SR2 won't be on par with GTAIV.... I'm almost certain SR2 will be more fun.... and thats what matters most, imo.

GTAIV was a complete let-down, I can't believe it scored a 10, what a joke. And not a funny joke either.... a terrible, crawl into my shower with my clothes on and try to wash away the dirtiness kinda joke.

Sonic is dead? Then what the hell were Sonic Rush, Sonic and the Secret Rings, and Sonic Rush Adventure? All of them scored either A or AA. And since when is IGN the universal indicator of quality? I'm not making excuses for anyone... but I think its due to the fact that at one time it was Sonic vs Mario.... Mario has been a constant AAA franchise (not talking about spinoffs)

Sonic just can't cut it anymore.... but people are looking for Sonic to return to its glory days.... which imo, will never happen.

i dont think madden gets "crappy score" an average of 7 to 8 is not crappy. i dont get why people have such high standards, like anything below an 8 is considered not good to them. when really their feelings should pertain to games that get around a 5. a 7-8 in my mind is considered good.....

When games cost $60 of my hard earned cash, damn right you better bet an 8 and lower is not worth the green

Conan was a fun demo i thought.... I wouldn't pay full price for it, since its supposed to be very short, with little replay value.... or so I've heard.

The things you say about Gears & Resistance being different games are all true... but what does any of that have to do with comparing graphics?

I can't compare WoW graphics to Crysis Graphics because they are 2 completely different games? Huh? Of course I can.... I can compare anything I want. So long as both of the things actually have the thing I'm comparing. And in this case we are comparing graphics.... does Resistance have graphics? Does Gears have graphics? YUP! So then they are comparable, no matter how different the games are from each other.

Also 1 of the stupidest things said here on SW, is the FPS vs TPS.... how does the position of the in game camera make it so the games can't be compared via Visuals, Sound, Gameplay & FUN?
