Sometimes WRPG's are really good like Mass Effect, but many are clunky and uninteresting to me. While JRPG's sometimes get a little over the top, they usually hav e good stories such as the Final Fantasy games.
I don't think there should be a limit. If developers want to put in things that challenge people and reward them with gamerscore thats great. As long as it doesn't lead to stupid ones like "Press Start" or "Complete pass with Rex Grossman".
I would say that I'm between 3 and 4. I get as many achievements as I can. However, I only get them if they are kind of easy. Like replaying games and things like that. I try to get lots of multiplayer ones but some, such as weapon exclusive ones, I don't really go for because I may or may not be good with it like some of the Halo 3 ones.
Really it all depends on the type of games that they would put out for it. Microsoft would definately put out good hardware, and if companies like Bungie, Lionhead, or 2K made games that were either originals or based off of Xbox360 counterparts (Halo, Fable, Bioshock).
I don't really care. I play the games I buy for a while, buy a new one and play it and then replay old ones. If a game intrests me and I'm in the middle of another game I might wait but its kinda whatever with me.
I know that Nintendo doesn't have Link speak so that they can make the experience more personal, but I wouldn't mind Link actually speaking for once. It would also be nice for the characters to have voices rather than text based. The idea of the whole RPG element you were talking about could be kind of cool, but would have to have the option for a sort of Fable-esque choose your own alignment type thing and I don't think Nintendo would like having the options for an evil Link, especially giving people other ways at being evil.
I'm happy Peyton got it. It's a great thing for all Indy fans (including myself) but he did a lot to put this team in a position to win and make the playoffs after that horrible 3-4 start. I know that guys like Turner and Pennington helped turn their respective teams around, but this year Manning got the Colts to the Playoffs by doing everything himself. During the nine game wininng streak, with all the games before the Lions game they had won by a total of only 25 points. The defense wasn't great, and their was NO running game for him to build off of to fool with the play-action.
