I love these games. Still remember the first one by THQ. Man my friends and I played that game so many times over such a long period of time, trash talking the whole night haha. Haven't played UFC 2 by EA, but I may just get this one when it releases.

@Xristophoros: True, discussions would have been sparked regardless but this was something completely new. And tying this to other snippets is actually a lot of fun. I don't believe it was overly violent. Why do you need context in order for it to be okay to have violence in a video game?

And beaten over the head with it? Come on now. This is the 2nd thing we've ever seen of this game. The first trailer showed some of the aftermath, this one is making it very clear how dark it's going to get.

I don't know, obviously people will feel different ways, but I craved this kind of thing from this trailer. I wanted to get a sense of how the violence will be portrayed in this game. And it got me even more amped up for this game.

Sucks this trailer missed the mark for you, but hopefully the next one you enjoy more.

PS - The ending in The first game, at first I thought, "maybe we can make a choice here", but I didn't even hesitate and immediately went and did what the actual only option was. And it was brutal lol. Loved it. But that's why I enjoy in these kind of games. The sense of realism that comes with Naughty Dog games, but with an extremely dark touch.

Seemed like a very underwhelming Blizzcon to me. Nothing special. Overwatch and HotS heroes revealed? Big deal, they get revealed any month of the year when they're close to release.

A WoW expansion? So surprising. In fact, this was the first time in any WoW expansion reveal that I didn't really feel any interest in it. Maybe I'm just more interested in how the gameplay changes. Legion is so full of RNG on top of RNG on top of more RNG, that I guess I'm more interested in knowing I'd actually have control over progression in the game instead of just hoping for the best and potentially wasting hours and hours for zero reason.

There was nothing this year that was amazing. Nothing.

@Xristophoros: lmao, you're serious?

This trailer did exactly what it was intended to do. We weren't supposed to get it right off the go. It was supposed to spark debate and theories, which is exactly what it did.

Look it up and see what people have discovered just from the discussion from that trailer alone. The identity of the hanging female, the time period it takes place in, and the setting/location. I won't say here, because some people may not want spoilers.

The only reason it felt "odd and out of place" is because it didn't feature Joel and Ellie. This is the world of The Last of Us. This is what happens in that world. In no way is this trailer "out of place". It's a brutal, savage world where survival and trust is never guaranteed. And this trailer conveyed that brilliantly.

@newbpwnr: OH I agree for sure about classes being imbalanced in Wpvp but that's because they based pvp balance on rated arenas, not 1v1... Not saying arenas were balanced either lol, but that was their excuse.

But Legion murdered duels and any form of Wpvp with the introduction of templates. They only "balanced" pvp within those templates, and fucked everyone outside of instanced PVP. Want to be a god in Wpvp? Be a tank and easily take on 1v4 and laugh at their futile attempts.

I switched off of a pvp server in Wotlk since Wpvp was already dead. Legion just put the nail in the failed coffin. I miss the days of vanilla Wpvp. Easily top 3 of my fav things in all of WoW. It declined heavily in BC and only got steadily worse from there.

I don't have the time to invest in classic servers. Only reason I can play current WoW is because of how casual friendly it is. Vanilla actually required heavy investments of time and dedication which is not something I have like I did back when I was in high school lol.

@newbpwnr: Come on. World PVP was completely destroyed in the current expansion. Even duels. It is not this expansion that's killing it.

@RoachRush: You're cool bro. Funny thing though, you're an idiot lol. Maybe you should spend more time becoming intelligent instead of trying to make your Mario Defence Force Facebook group proud of you.

I'll make this as easy as possible to comprehend. I understand in today's day and age, just reading can even be a struggle.

I said Mario 64 was the holy grail, yes, but then I added that the series fell off hard after that release. Still following? Good. I hope you're not lying, it may get confusing going forward.

Then, I said the reason why it fell off is when comparing it to other games at the time. Meaning the games and level of quality of those games that were out when the next Mario games were released. Mario 64 blew everything away. Especially anything in that genre. It revolutionized 3D gaming on consoles. The subsequent releases weren't at that level. The rest of the gaming industry had caught up and surpassed anything (fun factor, ingenuity, freshness, etc.) the next Mario games could offer.

Almost done. Hang in there pal. Take a break if you have to and get some fresh air.

Now, as for the nostalgia factor. My point was that people have a soft spot for Mario games in general due to their incredibly fond memories of the past games when they were younger. I never once said that nothing today can compare to Mario 64. This is where reading comprehension can spare you the embarrassment of getting rekt in a comment section about video games.

And just one last point. I wasn't hating on this game. I was talking about the Mario franchise as a whole up to this point. My experiences with all the past "10/10 Masterpieces" and how those scores were inflated. I even said, if you could read, that I haven't played Odyssey so I can't judge this game. But my reason for not being sold on it, is because of my opinion on the games before it.

Do you understand? Do you need me to go more in depth? Did this give you a headache?

Admittedly, I guess I could have gone more in depth initially so that morons like you wouldn't struggle so hard. But, I'm at work, and there's periods of boredom, so thank you for being an idiot and helping me kill time with explanations. Have a great day, and remember to kiss your mom at night and to tell her you love her. I doubt anyone else will ever be there for you. Don't let her down too.

@Redsyrup: I can agree with that. I'm not saying they're bad games, just not perfect 10's.

And I agree heavily on the new Zelda. I did enjoy my time with it, and I'm a massive long-time Zelda fan, but it was overrated. No doubt.
