[QUOTE="gaminggeek"]How about Phoenix Wright?ASK_Story

I'm sorry, but Phoenix is way too cool to make guest appearances in a game like this...

Gumshoe then?

I think a lot of people are going to pick the first one, and deservedly so.  It was incredibly revolutionary, had really fresh gameplay and pretty awesome level design and puzzles.  That being said, Echoes doesn't get the credit it deserves.  The whole light/dark concept can seem tedious and tacked on at first, but when you actually get into the game you start to appreciate the level design which was taken to the next level with Echoes, as well as more depth to the story and environments (in my opinion).  While the Torvus Bog and Agon Wastes seem kinda boring at first glance they're really, really well designed.

I never actually finished Echoes all the way through, though... I lost my copy. :(

Just look on the front page of popularity.  GTA IV is #1, SA is #7.

[QUOTE="Film-Guy"]lol, todays band of the day didnt go too well, i might go back to more unknown bands instead.Berzz
you should try that. (:

I agree. That way people will check out the band more likely and post about them. Do Sigur Ros! PS: To the guy above, Arctic Monkeys aren't unknown. :) Then again, I guess Sigur Ros arent' really either, depending on who ya talk to. Ah well, Film-Guy, do whoever you want.

[QUOTE="someotherguy654"][QUOTE="Greatgone12"][QUOTE="someotherguy654"][QUOTE="Greatgone12"]I say we ditch all contemporary instruments.

I elect to be a suitcase-pedal player, and the blowdrier, and the table. You see, with the modern convenience of foot pedals, I can play all three at the same time.

Greatgone12

and I'll play the lamp and microwave.

LJS can be the chainsaw, and the toenail, and the Chimpanzee...

We will be the awesomest Avant-Garde Sex Polka Metal Techno Bluegrass Percussion trio ever. We will have indie cred out of our asses.

When do you think we should sell out?

When Alice Cooper dies. We'll name our band AliceCooperHead. All good bands have the word "head" at the end... Radiohead... The Talking Heads... Yeah, that's about it.

I hate the Talking Heads! :P But Radiohead's my favourite band, so it evens out.

Muse is a really great band, but they sometimes suffer from their own bombast.  Radiohead owns 'em.

Bands are remembered for different reasons, some for their popularity others because they break new ground and form a new sound and thus a new genre. Nick Drake was a folk musician of the 1970s who died young, during his lifetime hardly anyone knew him. But, now he is very well known (among the musically aware at least) because he was ahead of his time and transcended much of the other music happening around him.Salvy41
As much as I love Nick Drake, he's not a "remembered" artist. Among internet music enthusiasts, yes. But I'm pretty sure only mainstream stuff will really be remembered that well. So, I'm gonna say: Coldplay, RHCP, Snow Patrol, Green Day (yuck), Black Eyed Peas, Linkin Park, Eminem, Beyonce and some others will definitely be remembered. Hopefully people won't forget about Radiohead, Modest Mouse and other semi-popular but not quite there bands.

Nice photos. I have gotten into the hobbie about a year ago and love it. I use a local dark room, and I do black and white photography using an ancient 35mm SLR.Etheral_Filcher
There's something about dark rooms I just love. Even though you could argue that it's impractical and wasteful in an age of digital photography, personally developing photos, setting your own contrast and making each picture your own is just the best. Plus I don't have the money for a digital SLR.

Those are great, though I'm not normally a fan of digitally altereted photography.  It sometimes produces beautiful images, but I prefer real images caught Cartier-Bresson-style.

Still, fantastic photographs overall.  :)  What camera do you use?
