Don't get me wrong, I like the fact that they released the other systems games, but..... Thousands of games were released in total for the NES, SNES, N64 and there are maybe 30-40 games avaliable. That is a very tiny fraction.sigphilwilson
they don't wanna just PFFT them all out at once, they want to be able to spread them out thru the lifetime of the Wii. also, they have to take the time to recode the games so they will work on the Wii, save correctly, and not take anything away from the original. and yes, I know there were thousands of games made, and I do agree that they need to release more games at a time, but they do have to work on them and that takes time away from other things those ppl could be doing, like working on Wii games, accessories, or new features.

I printed out the coupon before they added the 14.99 to it... If I take it in do you think they'll honor it for a game under 14.99??? Since I'm a cheap-A** I really wanted to get Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for 4.99. If I can't use it for that I might get Skies of Arcadia because I think that's 17.99 if I can find it. roboccs
they have it programmed into the system so it won't work for a game below the set price, thanx to computers, ppl can't get away with things like this. best u'll get is probably just an appology, altho probably not a sincere one

I never buy used games. I have a complex or something. Lollcman92
I buy used games all the time, becasue for 1, I got the GC and Xbox long after release, and 2, they're cheaper :P besides, I don't even know where I can find new GC games, but I would prefer to not pay full price anyways, I have NEVER had a problem with a used game, DVD, system, or anything. heck, even the computer I'm using right now was used before I got it :P but hey, it came with a free copy of a movie on it from the previous owner lol

I think the best would be FPS just becasue of the aimer, but I personally wanna see the come-back of Point 'n Click adventure games like Sam & Max, Monkey island, and other franchises like that. I loved, and still love, those games. I want them to come to the Wii.

you do not have to pay for WiFi, and almost definately will never have to pay for it. as for having to pay for the browser, yes, after June, u will have to pay 500 Wii Points ($5) for it, but that's because Opera wants to actually make a lil bit of money off of their work for the browser. but that's just to be able to download it, just like u would download a game. there will not be a monthly fee (or even a one time fee) for using nintendo's Wifi. that would be stupid for a couple reasons as of right now. for 1, that would take away the message board for a lot of ppl, as well as the Everybody Votes, weather and news channels, it will take away the address book, and take away the use of the Mii's other than in Wii Sports/Play. it would be pretty stupid of nintendo to charge for wifi at any time, so I don't ever see it happening.

I don't see how the wiimote can add anything to burnout really, but I just wish they'd bring the franchise to the Wii, and I don't care if it's a port or upgrade or whatever, just because I loved the burnout's on xbox and would love to still be able to play the upcoming ones without having to buy a new system. I don't really see it happening, but there's always a chance. I can hope for anything, and this is something I will hope for.

Have you guys checked the Wii site lately? They have been having teams talk about certain features on the Wii such as the photo, news, weather, and mii channels. Well now they have one on the Browser where they talk about the basics, u know, what they were thinking about in development, what they're plan was, stuff like that. They also talk about some of the new features that'll come with the final version. check it out here: http://us.wii.com/story_internet.jsp

Or if your just lazy and don't wanna read all that, I'll post some main points on new features.

"The full version will come equipped with a search button, making it even easier to look things up about what you have just seen on TV."

"And just so people can gather around in front of the TV and have fun, the full version can display cursors of multiple Wii Remotes. You still can only control the Channel with the first Wii Remote, but now others can use the cursors to point at things on the screen, to communicate where they want people to look on the screen, or where they want the person with the first Wii Remote to click."

"First, there are now two types of zoom in the full version. The first type is the same as the one that was in the trial version, where it automatically determines the zoom level and zooms the area where the cursor is. The new second type in the full version is a multi-level zoom feature, where it can zoom in on the page in set zoom levels. Customers are now able to choose the one they like better from these two zoom types."

"We're using a feature called "Outline Font" in the full version, so the words will never be blurry no matter how much you zoom in on them."

"The new scroll feature works by pressing the B Button, and depending on what part of the screen your pressed it, and the direction and the distance you move the cursor, it will change the scroll speed"

"Also, the new scroll feature will display a guide from the moment you press the B Button, so it's easier to tell in what direction and how fast you're scrolling."

"...we were able to shorten the initial startup time by more than five seconds, and the Favorites menu can be used right away once it opens, even if you added a lot of sites to it."

"In the full version, the toolbar displayed on the bottom of the screen will be equipped with an auto-hide feature...our customers are able to choose from different modes like the one where the toolbar will hide automatically after a while, and where the toolbar will hide away with a press of a button."

"At this time, Wii is not compatible with an external keyboard because of concerns like cost issues, but I do think it would be useful for text input, and it's definitely something to think about in the future."

There's more to read, and I know this is a lot as it is, but if u really wanna know about the browser, u should read the whole interview thing, or at least most of it.

Actually if you have a classic controller you can use the analog sticks on there to control the hand on the Wii. That way you wouldn't have to take the sensor bar to your friends house. smileyryder34
u can do that? I didn't think u were able to.

wow, the things u learn when u don't wanna learn anything

Last thing I saw was a Wikipedia thing about it in another thread. Katamari with the Wii remote has a lot of potential.decepticondevil
no offense to monkeyball lovers, but I don't think I could play a full game with the "tilt the world" controls. I played the mini-game in the fishing shop in Twilight Princess and it was fun for a mini-game, but I couldn't play a full game like that, at least not for very long at a time. it would be way too annoying for me. I never actually got to play the other Katamari game so I don't know how this game will be but I did want to try it and thought it looked kinda fun.

I was a lil worried when I say the title of this post. I thought u were gonna tell me that the game was canceled!! I have been waiting for this one since the Wii launched, and last I heard with was coming out sometime around june-july. anyways, I know waht u mean tho, I don't know y we haven't gotten any new news on this game, I would expect, it being a new possible franchise, that they would give us some good info and try to hype this game pretty good. well, hopefully news will come soon.
