I got Darksider, Fear Pack, Operation flash point (i know it's bad), Bioshock 1, for the cheapest i could im pretty sure. Steam sales are good, today flatout for 2$, Batman for 7$, First day BFBC2 for 6$, The prince of Persia game ~5$ , DMC4 (if you got lucky 4$), Great Indie Pack for almost nothing...Much more...

That said i saw Singularity for 7$ on GamersGate if i remember well, That's a good deal.

And Steam will probably have an Encore at the end of the sales. (Best seller of each day again the last day)

Btw CoD Black Ops is 40$ on amazon today.

Rockstar game never got the gameplay part of their games (and the exception isMax Payne!) which totally kill it for me,(RDR, GTA4 Auto aim, More like aim bot)as a huge fan of over the top shooters ive never understood why some dev add those boring/bad gameplay (i mean i expect game like FF to be slow paced and somehow boring). Rockstar and Bioware are at the same level to me, They make game with a good background but the rest is lacking. (Vanquish showed everyone that a 3rd person shooter can be just as smooth as a FPS in term of Gameplay)

So to answer the Question, No they didn't make any Horrible game, but they never made any Great game either.

Id say go with the Football game you will have a billion time more replay value. (if you like that kind of thing)

That said Mass Effect 2 is not bad, it's more in the average range, First the game is a cake walk to the end, ive done it at the hardest diff and the only place were it's a bit challenging is the first part in the mission "Ghost Ship" or something like that, The combat in general is boring/bad, RPG not really, 10h of speech with a bit of action here and there, Load,load,load..Yeah alots of load,(played it on my 360)Replay value is low two play trough and you saw everything (About 30h total). ME 2 Is a Good Rent if you have a 360. After that it Really depend on your favorite genre.

To be Honest i would recommend you to buy something else then those two game, Fallout will last you a while, Dragon Age got 50h of gameplay x2 (if you can pass the first hour), you could buy The Witcher 2 and wait a bit, Oh Or simply wait for the Steam Christmas Sale and buy Mass Effect there.

Buy Super Meat Boy will probably last you forever since you will get stuck at a certain point in the game.

MegaBoom - Perk, Let you have 10 Claymore and duel wield 2 RPG rocket, Pro - Give you even more Claymore and add some C4 in your pocket so you can BOOM where you want.

If you can have a Good Price Yes otherwise wait for a good sale (like the Steam one in about a month). Ive found the control not that good (gameplay in general on the console version) But you get used to it. The Story is ok, it's in the CoD veins, about 5h long. PC version might be the wise choice (never played it on PC might want to check the forum if theres any bug).

To me Portal was Perfect, Great puzzle, Funny/silly Story, Good/smooth gameplay, Good looking, and the pricing was perfect.

But then again GTAIV got a "Perfect Review" go figure, Perfect is just a matter of Opinion.

DoW2 is what you want i guess, do you have Steam? If so you must have seen that game a bunch of time on sell, Just this weekend the pack with the expension was 13$ Good game and does exatly what you want (if i get what you want right). Check it out and if you want a good deal wait a bit for the Holidays sales on steam. ( You need an XBL Account to play since it's a GFWL)
