[QUOTE="PJ24"] Oh. so it's not possible to say...transfer my Rock Band tracks then? :?SOedipusI'm not 100% sure but I believe not. I think you will have to download them again, but at least it would be free (I think you can re-download files around 5 times for cases like this: switching hard drive, corrupted hard drive, etc) Hmm...ok, thanks for your help. I was hoping there was a way to do this in a way that I wouldn't have to download the tracks again...but if there isn't another way I guess it can't be helped :)
Well the simplest way, for me anyways, is to transfer your saves files, music, and videos, that you want to move, onto a usb stick. After you switch hard drives, and format it, then transfer the files from your usb stick to your new hard drive. You can't transfer demos or game caches so it shouldn't take too much space unless you have lots of videos and music that you want to move, then it may take several trips from your PS3 to your usb stick, to your computer and so on. You could use an external hard drive which would make it faster, but I wouldn't recommend buying one just to make one transfer like that. Your offline and online ID will remain intact, as well as settings, trophies, friends, passwords put on auto-sign-in, and such so you don't need to worry about those.SOedipusOh. so it's not possible to say...transfer my Rock Band tracks then? :?
