@stonepilot43: Fighting controls are definitely alien to the norm, and why they don't let buttons be remapped is a real mystery. I'm not so sure about the aiming though. The game is designed for methodical fighting, and not easy mode lock-on attacking. It can be frustrating, but I blame myself for missing openings because of misjudging distance.

@BigFeef: Actually, they can. New Egg went pretty high over MSRP when the 1080 first came out because demand was so high. Sold a lot of them for $999.

@Thanatos2k: It's more like a scaling matter. 8K has been a thing for at least 5 years in movie theaters where the screen size warrants it. I think CES has even had 8K TVs shown off in those fancy 100 inch plus models. The bigger the screen, the bigger an impact 8K would have over 4K.

@rob909e: It's strength is in playing with friends. I don't think I'd ever had gotten it without friends to play with.

@rhinosaur24: It's probably a ploy to get people to stay subscribed.

@e3man01: It's disconnect with the consumers. This can often be a problem with companies that have been around for so long with the same people at the top.

@dngdangerous: Reggie fulfills his role for them. It isn't his job to make fans happy. It's his job to be the mouthpiece for Nintendo in America and direct its operations in this country, which has been passable. His strength has been in conforming to NOJ's plans, and not risking his job on ideas of his own. Any short comings he can blame on the core plan. It is a weak tactic, and can only go so far, but it does drag it out. Think of him as that brown nosing worm that dials it in from long distance. I'm sure you've witnessed more than your fair share at your jobs.

@xshinobi: The only reason I have some hope is the nvidia showcase a few months back. It at least shows they've been working with the tech, and taking a, hopefully, more serious approach than their past ports.

The two items are entirely different in not just design, but the actual function. The Switch slides into the bridge and the joy cons are used separate of the bridge as controllers for play on TVs. The joycons attach to the tablet when removed from the bridge.

The wikipad is a tablet with a glorified controller dock. It is not a bridge of any kind that allows the tablet to be played on TVs. It is nothing more than a controller with speakers.
