I get that it's a step back. But that has no bearing on whether or not it gets a video review. Plenty of disappointing sequels have gotten them before. It isn't like video reviews are a badge of honor for the best games. It's just an alternative to the text review.
That said, IT IS JUST AN ALTERNATIVE, it really isn't that hard to read so I don't get why so many people are complaining.
I did two unpaid internships for 4 months and 6 months. Interns don't get paid crap. Apparently it counts as "college credit" whatever the hell that meant.
I doubt he'd get sued for copyright infringement. Games can utilize similar themes and playstyles, those can't be copyrighted. They're making new characters, levels, etc. They'll be good to go.
Anyway, I just pledged to the project. I'm excited!
Not surprising that it would be your GotY, or Spelunky. I do recall how fondly you spoke of that game in last year's awards.
I'd probably go with BioShock Infinite, but right now it's because it's the only game that's been more than mindless fun. Tomb Raider, Evoland, Ridiculous Fishing, Gunpoint and even the still promising with mod-content Shadowrun have been that sort of "one and done" sort of fun but overall forgettable. If I was allowed to pick a non-2013 release it would be Ys Origin though. I love Ys.
It sounds like it, but it's more obviously beneficial to the those swapping platforms.
It's a bit of an annoyance on my end since I'd love to just hit "Import Save" and play. But it's better than nothing I guess and it does allow you to customize the world in certain ways without having to replay the first two titles.
Yeah, the crew stories were a bit of a lost opportunity. That would have been really cool to see. But it was one hell of a ride all the way through.
This feature for DA is kind of telling because with ME3 I played on PC but I played ME1 and ME2 on 360. I loved ME3 more than the other two so I wanted to see my choices carry over, went and bought both, replayed the trilogy on PC just to see everything the way I wanted.
It's just one of the great sci-fi experiences on the market in my opinion and I don't get why people act so butthurt over the ending. It works fine. It could have been better, it could have been more fleshed out but I still see it as one of the defining experiences of this gen and past decade.
