I'm playing it right now. Review and score seem fair, though I might rate it slightly higher based on its future potential. The game is set up as a platform for telling stories. The next campaign from Harebrained Schemes is going to be set in Berlin so when you start new game it's always a new story. I hope we just see a steady flow of stories in the universe, either from Harebrained or from user created campaigns. The potential for this game is very high. But as it stands, releasing with just this one campaign right now a 7 seems fair. But there's potential for this to be the type of game you return back to again and again so long as there's a stream of content at a steady clip.
Compare DayZ to The War Z. Wouldn't you rather wait than get a broken game?
I do agree that Fish was a jerk to the community. I saw his comments and did not want to buy Fez at all. I was talked into purchasing it by a friend because it's supposed to be really good, but as I was reading the guy's comments I knew I didn't like him.
Your customers can be terrible. But you are selling them a product. So put your salesman face on and smile. There's nothing else to it.
