Thank you for putting words in my mouth. I'd explain it, but maybe you should read my post above yours, see if you can figure out what I meant by my first post.bleehum

That is why I put in an edit, I understand what you meant now. Basicly not wanting to play a game because a faction is not in it. Problem is this can actually happen with me seeing people not wanting to buy a game simply cause a certain faction is in it (see Civ 5 and the lack of Poland), even though you can take any other faction and just rename them poland in the edit options.

[QUOTE="sikanderahmed"]

i wont buy this game now coz i wanted to play as taliban

bleehum

I think my sarcasm meter is going off the charts.

What is wrong with wanting to play as the Taliban? Am I a bad guy now because I like to play as the Nazis (Nazis are much worse than Talibans) in WW2 games?

Edit: But not buying just because of a rename is a bit... odd.

From what I have heard this is a reboot in the franchise, and unlike a lot of reboots, this seems to be for the better.

I am glad it is beating the previous 2 installments in not only sales but scores.

The store also offers weapons and stuff that increases maximum health etc. I don't know if you can get all of those just by playing the game though.SkyWard20

Anything that changes gameplay can be crafted or found, but there are a few cosmetic items that can only be bought with real money.

I actually wouldn't even mind it for people who couldn't keep up with the game wanting to buy new items, the problem is I doubt these people want to spend $10 for a hat or $5 on a weapon for a game they're not going to play that often.

DarkerKamikaze

The highest anything goes for is 5 Dollars (for weapons) and the average price for each is slightly less than 2 Dollars, I could see plenty of people buy stuff like this. If only to catch up.

Yes. It will be like that.xsubtownerx

Excellent, Thanks for answering my question :). Hype level increasing even further, and I didn't even like Fallout 3 (thought it was decent once it was modded).

I am not sure what to make of this, on one side this is optional and may make people happier as well as fill Valve's wallets. On the other hand, this may anger Valve's customer base and damage Valve's reputation, judging by this thread it is doing both.

But seriously they are completely optional and any gameplay changing items can already be acquired in the game. This is great for people who dont play TF2 a lot as now they will also be able to obtain the weapons and hats that interest them. Options don't hurt right?

Moral of the Story: Diminishing returns hurt a lot.

Guys, lets not derail this into a Dragon Age: Origins vs The Witcher thread please.

Oh......yuck.

Hack n Slash?

Raymundo_Manuel

I have heard devs stating that the PC version controls just like Dragon Age: Origins, so may be a bit of a relief. I still believe the game will be bad though, but not because of the combat.

Activision easily, they are willing to go an extra mile just so we can have 1 additional Call of Duty every year, and countless guitar heros. :P

But seriously, it would be hard to compare the big 3 as all of them rip us off in different ways. Nintendo is the only of the 3 who sells a console for more than it costs to make, Sony removes features that will only end up punishing legal customers and Microsoft is Microsoft with its shady practices.

Edit: Still Nintendo has great customer support, and sony has been doing a great job supporting their system. But I Bungie has done a really good job supporting Halo 3 so they win.
