@comp_atkins: His narrative now is that he bought Twitter to save his communist daughter from the "woke mind virus". Because flooding twitter with delusional fascists apparently is how you would deradicalize someone.

@judaspete: One thing that makes this game stand out from other 99s is you actively interact with other players. Rather than them just occationally sending you something.
I remember when a few people were celebrating when Musk acquired Twitter. How badly those remarks have aged.
Yeah, this game was one incredible pleasant surprise.
Terrible first impression. But the game is really fun now that I have palyed it for a bit. Easily the best Battle Royale on the Switch. I also bought Fast RMX as a response to my initial disappointment, so now I got to excellent games!
I doubt they will find anything to impeach Biden with, they just need to get over themselves and elect someone who is NOT a criminal as the frontrunner. This just makes them look bad. The system is not Laws for Thee, not for me.
Yeah it's pretty cringe (and I hate using that word) when your source is Tim Pool.
These people are con artists, don't go to them for your news.
I really don't see how anyone with a shred of critical thinking skills can take anyone like Tim Pool, Jordan Peterson or Joe Rogan seriously. At least people on the right seem to have moved away from Steven Crowder, so that is progress!
Fun Fact: being a Joe Rogan viewer/listener is seen as a turn-off for a majority (55%) of Women between the ages 18-34.

@dabear: Isn't your daily job working on computers, and you said it yourself that you don't want to sit in front of a computer even more so than you already do? You really have no choice, pal. Its a Playstation system or you'll be riding your bike as the only hobby.😖
I'd figure it out, or just be a Sheep.
What is your opinion on the Steam Deck?
@nintendoboy16: Saleswise, sure?
Buzz and reputation? GX takes the crown there. People are still talking about GX 20 years later. F-Zero on the SNES did not have that kind of longevity.
Safe to say after this direct there will never be a new f-zero. No interest in this 99 rubbish will be impossible to play against 99 other people at that speed.
Its based on F-Zero for the SNES which is much slower than X and GX. I gave it a shot, because I dont like judging games I havent played.
It is just slow compared to X or GX. Not to mention a literal cooldown on attack movies and a lack of physics that added a lot of technical depth to GX.
I get that Nintendo doesnt want to make a new game without adding some hook to stand out from predecessors, but really, listening to the fans is what they should do here. Rather than insult them with stuff like this. If there is one silver lining from this. It is that some Nintendo fan probably made this their last straw and are now making their own spiritual successor.
I wonder what DaVillain thought of the Spy X Family game?
Totally wasn't expecting that. As a Spy X Family fan, I can tell you now I'm very hyped to see Anya getting her own game and I like the art style as well.
The direct was decent and I normally don't try to hype myself as I tend to keep myself in check. both Spy X Anya & Luigi's Mansion 2 HD has sold me the most!
When I saw the Anya game, I was thinking of you :P "What will davillain think of this?"
And, I think your mentality is very healthy, to keep hype in check. I agree fully, the show was decent, not great, but not bad either. F-Zero was a bummer. But Peach and the Vanillaware game made up for it. I also never picked up the thousand year door. But after BG3, I am extremely wary about playing another RPG.
Keeping hype in check, and not giving in to FOMO are probably teh best attitudes a gamer can have. We all know how critical I was of Elden Ring last year. I gave in to social pressure and it made me miserable. At least I somewhat learnt my lesson with BG3. Still room for improvement.
