Might think about trying this series for the first time. I played the beta a little bit. The problem is that I don't have PS online and don't have the money for that. It really detracts from me getting anything on PS4 aside from solid single-player games. Which MH World may have that, too, but I would want to play online.

@Litchie: You seem to be forgetting that Nintendo is headed down the path of making you pay for their own shoddy online system which is way shoddier than what Sony/Microsoft offer.

@jun_aka_pekto: The thing is, if I took a vacation there, I wouldn't be able to enjoy it because I wouldn't want to spend anytime outside. I have a very low tolerance for heat nowadays. I mean, if it is even 70 degrees F and it is sunny without any wind, it is too hot for me. I don't like the feeling of heat at all.

If I went somewhere like that, I'd have to enjoy the view from inside an air-conditioned building and that's no fun.

It's certainly toward the bottom in terms of the climate, IMO. The climate is a pretty big deal to me. I can't stand eternally hot and humid climates and hurricanes/severe thunderstorms. I would never be happy in Florida. Not even vacationing.

Paper Mario Sticker Star. It was a hollow shell of the original Paper Marios. It gave me no incentive to actually play it.

Any NSMB game past the first. It's just all so samey. I got NSMB U in a bundle for my Wii U and played it for maybe five seconds before deciding there was no reason to play it.

I am definitely a dog person. I personally find dogs to be a lot cuter. I've seen people in this topic mention that dogs are too much in their face. That has not been my experience with dogs. They like being loved on, but they spend a lot of time sleeping, giving me my me time.

From what I've seen, cats climb all over everything, including people. I would find that to be really annoying. My dog jumps up on my side, but that's it. Also, I rather like my apartment not smelling like a cat litterbox.

Are you wanting people to come in here and tell you that you are too old? I snapped out of that "I must only enjoy 'adult' stuff" when I came out of my preteens. There's nothing "mature" about convincing yourself you can only play "mature" games when you really actually like the games you don't consider "mature". That is a mindset found most often in preteens who can't enjoy things just to enjoy them. Don't be like them.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

I got both on sale from Best Buy a couple of years or so ago, and both games sadly had some issues that made it hard for me to really get into them (Luigi's Mansion only allows you to save in between missions, which is horrible for a portable game or any game in general. ALBW is just directionless and I'm not really fond of playing ALTTP look-alike game anyway)

If they want to create a redesign with 3D for people who like it, that's fine with me personally. However, 3D never worked as selling point for the 3DS, which is evident by Nintendo downplaying it heavily throughout a significant portion of the handheld's life. Now they want you to buy 2DS's, and big games like Pokemon don't have 3D at all.

I seriously doubt Nintendo would go down that road again, and I'm fine with that because I never used the feature.

Never happy to see any company jumping on this bandwagon. I have never cared for Amiibos. They have always been poorly designed as models (and I'm not even a model collector, so if it's that obvious to me, it's really saying something). They're over-priced, and hard to get. And they pretty much prey on people like me who want to have Link in a traditional Link tunic in BotW. But I'm yet to crack, so...

@djoffer: I'm not sure how much it cost at launch, the point is that it has dropped down to below $30, whereas Twilight Princess HD has not.

The rest of your post makes absolutely no sense and you should know it. Twilight Princess HD is an HD remaster of what was a ten year old game when the remaster was released, and now it's over 11 years old, yet the remaster still costs $60 today. An HD remaster of an individual game, I repeat.

Kingdom Hearts I.5 & II.5 is a horrendous example to bring up for your case, because it just proves how companies other than Nintendo bundle together their remasters and regardless of whether or not they start at $60, these remasters are put on sale nearly immediately and then their prices are permanently dropped down to below $30 not too long after.

Meanwhile, Nintendo releases their ports as individual releases, releases them at $60 (regardless of whether they are enhanced like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or standard HD remasters like Twilight Princess HD), and never reduces their prices for sales or brings down their price.

I'm sure you could find an example of an individual title HD port for Sony or Microsoft, but I doubt it still costs $60 two years after its release.
