I'm a long time fan of the series and I really enjoyed the demo, but I'm waiting on a price cut.

@davillain-:

I like to mix it up. When I have a lot of time I play old and new games, but if my time is limited, I'll just focus on the one new tittle.

There is a controversy about batman killing people in movies. I think batman video games would better if batman killed people instead of just knocking them out. That is my issue with the Arkham games. What do you think.

It would be a interesting element to add because Batman definitely does have the potential to go rogue because of his tragic past. But that doesn't mean it will make the game better.....interesting maybe, better? Not necessarily!

Hopefully it tanks hard in sales as I can't see myself going fully digital ever.

I don't want it to tank. I think there are a lot of people that want it, but I don't think I can go fully digital either unless it's forced.

Full digital needs to tank, having only 1 option (Xbox live marketplace) to buy games creates no competition and thus little incentive to lower prices.

Once full digital goes ahead there is no turning back, at least with physical I can shop around for a better price and I can trade in and get money off my next game. Digital is ALWAYS dearer upon release and yet there is no middle man, packaging/manual etc and is still higher in price, its ludicrous.

Don't get me started on ownership rights either as that is another can of worms when it comes to digital.

This console NEEDS to fail for competition to thrive, but I feel this is the beginning of the end for gaming, well for me anyway :(

So true, even though I like the convenience of being able to download a game with just the push of a button, I know it will come at a cost eventually. Even though I'm on the fence with the whole Digital vs Disc argument, I know it will be just like you said, it will be no turning back if digital becomes the standard.

The Witcher 3 is at the top of my list, but here are a few of my other favorite worlds to explore

Dying Light

Mad Max

The Division

MGS5

Assassins Creed Origins and Odessy

Mass Effect: Andromeda

There are a few other tittles that I like, it's just that list I just gave was off the top of my head.

I bought a ''50 Sony 4k TV off of a buddy of mine last year for pretty cheap, besides that all the other TV's in my house are 1080p. After having it for a while I will say that I can see that 4K is an improvement, but not that huge of an improvement that I feel a need to upgrade all of my TV's at the present time. But I am surprised to see that the price on 4k TV's are dropping drastically, so I will be upgrading a lot sooner then later.

The controls are a little outdated because most of todays shooters give you a lot more movement when shooting. I play it once in a while, it usually takes me a few minutes to get adjusted to the controls again.

I actually skipped RE3 back in the day was it any good?

I actually started out with RE3, I skipped 1-2....I couldn't get with the mechanics! RE3 was slightly better, but it was the atmosphere that drove me and the main tyrant (nemesis)who was like the boogieman to me. I Tried going back and playing it few years ago but it definitely didn't age, that's why when Capcom officially announced that they where doing a RE2 remake, I figured RE3 wouldn't be that far behind...especially since it got decent reviews during that time.

Action/Platformer: God of War, Alan Wake

Action RPG: The Witcher, Mass Effect

Tactical Shooters/ Shooters: Ghost Recon, Call of Duty

I use to be a big fighting game fan back in the 90's( Mortal Kombat, Tekken) but I've lost interest in them since the mid 2000. I have a few sports games like Madden and UFC, but not enough to really be worth mentioning them!!

There are some decent games coming out in 2019, but none that I'll be willing to buy at full price. So I'll just be sitting back waiting on flash sales and catching up on my backlog of games. I guess one of the reasons I'm not pressed about games coming out in 2019 is that I'm really happy with the gaming collection I already own(XBOX and PS) and the replay value that it gives me!
