This is looking like one of my favourite games of the next year, this and The Witcher 3 have me most interested at this point i think.

@b0sse Thats totally just a taste thing Skyrim is a giant intricate balancing act of mechanics running on an immense scale so yeah its going to be more likely to bug than the Witcher 2, but they are completely different games in their focus.

One is an immense open intricate world for you to tell your own stories in and explore and discover the other is a heavily guided linear adventure focussed on telling you a narrative with much more detail and depth than you could acheive in Skyrim considering its scale.

Both are Fantastic games and I would much rather have them be different with a different focus than have either of them change :P

Then again the Witcher 3 looks like the best of both worlds, if they can pull that off right it will be one hell of a game.

@robbiejones @Geminon That depends heavily on what rig you have... obviously if you can build a powerful enough PC to push Battlefield with the same assets but at higher than 1080p with a higher fps then yeah. However you're going to need a much more powerful rig than the processors that are in the new consoles to brute force that kind of performance.

At this point the only real difference between a relatively powerful PC and the consoles is going to be the mouse and keyboard for most people, traded off by the complexity of PC gaming vs the convenience of consoles. Personally I'm happy with a controller at this point so I'd rather lounge in front of my tv to play, but its a personal taste thing.

@hrothgar99 @Oogazi Seconded, extremely exited about this game. I love the Elder-scrolls series. However having that experience where you wander into a new area and come up against an enemy thats scary as hell and is going to kick your ass because you aren't experienced enough is awesome then coming back all geared up with the antisipation after working to build yourself up and kicking its ass.... soooo good

@ShadowOfKratos

I think he's talking about how you are guided about the world and different areas are divided kinda like World of Warcraft how the areas are segmented and the enemies don't scale so there will be a degree of guidance again ala wow just mechanically a completely different game obviously :)

Its still open world and free roaming just gated by difficulty and natural choke points from this and other interviews.
