Its a personal taste thing. I actually find most genres more enjoyable to play with a controller. Partially because I can lounge around while playing and not be stuck sitting in an upright position but in general I find a controller works better for most things apart from FPS. Which tbh i just don't mind the trade off of comfort for a less precise twitchy game, and menu driven games e.g. RTS,SIM etc.
For The Witcher 2 I found the controller was much better for combat and general gameplay but a bit slower in the menus crafting etc which is pretty normal.
@wearelegion5000 Its a design decision not limitation. Allot of people prefer that system or just like to have games with variety rather than homogenisation into one type of game.
These are launch titles guys, think about the launch of the 360 for instance then compare the graphical quality of e.g Halo 4 with Perfect Dark Zero or CoD2. Especially considering thats the multiplayer on a cross gen release being streamed, compressed and running at much lower resolution with a much lower frame-rate than the source. its not going to be representative of what the consoles can actually do, wait to actually see the games in person.
People seem to miss that the PC cant perform anywhere close to the same level by just trying to put similar speed chips into a PC. The working environments are totally different you need to use far more power with a PC to brute force the same results, which of course is possible.
TBH i just don't get the constant comparrisons and weird rivalry between the PC and Consoles, makes even less sense than the daft fanboyism that plagues the various console camps.
its like car owners getting all superior at motorbike riders because they have a boot... dumb. They both go places but otherwise are bought for completely different reasons and preferences. Arguing that motorbikes shouldn't exist because we have cars is pretty much the same level of dumb.
@Dictatroll 1080p is the standard for the next gen machines the thing thats going to vary is the 60/30fps split but thats going to be down to developers priorities.
