@Cirkelinespark @Manatassix @TheLeftHandDoom @myungish

Um.. who are you asking? lol you know my initial comment was Sarcasm... as I pointed out in the message... right?

the second was a quote I imagined being the genuine reason for the insult.. I sorta figured that was apparent.

@Grunt987654 its all part of the 'leveloution' idea, what better way to give a natural feeling sense of change than the weather conditions and a great way to throw a lot of cool looking shit about. Makes sense seems like a good idea.

@ZEBARO

Ok actually found that interesting. The reasoning is fascinating there are degrees of rational argument but the foundation of those arguments are statements taken as fact with no verification or actual evidence.

Just because you are consistent in your irrational foundation for arguments, that denotes nothing other than an ability to be consistent in a single belief, personally I'd take that as evidence of oppression and a lack of free thinking and expression than any kind of evidence of Divine guidance.

I'm completely baffled as to why you would think that posting that in these comments however is going to get you anything but indifference and mockery.

(oh to save people time its a youtube video attempting to use reasoning to convert people to Islam. Interesting if you find the psychology behind these kinds of mass delusion compelling but otherwise avoid)

@chris_face Id actually argue (in support of your comment) its more important that neither console 'wins' the more level the playing field is the better things are for the industry just look at how Microsoft did that 180 on its policies. when there is strong competition it drives companies to innovate change and compete.

Personally I thought the overwhelming domination of the market by the PS2 was what made the PS3 far less successful. At this point I'm hoping for another neck and neck race between the two big guys both of their machines are looking awesome and they are both listening to and reacting to what we say we want. Thats an awesome state of affairs and long may it continue :)

@ahpuck @Verenti

Needed more comedy I think personally found it a bit dry. The amount of content was definitely there but unfortunately getting to the good bits takes too much time.

3/5 Fair.

@peteywentout @smoke1125 *facepalm*

'I think all this fighting is stupid' which completely validates my next comment that just happens to be the verbal equivalent of attacking two guys fighting because I hadn't been included in the fight I just called stupid... yeah nice one there. :P

@LJNkickstarter I think a significant part of it comes from particularly the younger members of the community who don't always have the income to buy both consoles and tend to be more emotionally invested and expressive about that investment. Theres also the people who feel insecure about their purchasing decision right now who tend to need to validate themselves by arguing the merit of the choice they made.

To be fair, its unreasonable and comes off a bit smug for somebody like me or yourself to start commenting that everyone should 'just get all the consoles' as not everybody can or even wants to make that kind of investment in essentially what is a hobby (despite numerous attempts to lobby the government to declare it a vocation... by me... *sigh* one day!)

People are flawed and for the most part barley understand their own actions, behaviour like fanboysim and these console wars type conflicts wont go away until we recognise them as what they are. Insecure people looking for self validation who feel overly defensive of their life choices as they have placed part of their self worth into those choices. Its mostly just a bit sad.
