These are not "expansions". They are the main game. :|Incorrect. They will be needed if you want your version of multiplayer to be up to date, meaning that Blizzard will also be using that opportunity to add new units to each faction. You know, that sounds like an expansion, doesn't it?
Also, each "part" will have the main game with a brand new metagame. A good example is Terran being focused on technological advancements while Zerg will focus on diplomacy. In other words, they are not selling you the same thing 2 more times. Also, since these games will be expansions, they will be cheaper than the original game.
Those complaining like a bunch of spoil brats should really look up this info and execute some common sense before making a conclusion. This is not new, people. In fact, this is Warcraft 3 PLUS The Frozen Throne PLUS one more expansion, essentially. Each part will have a full game and story, only that the next part will carrying on from the resolution of the last while adding new stuff to multiplayer.
How is that "incorrect"? Any other game let you play with all the "races" on the SP campaign, and now I'm a spoiled brat for wanting to play the full game (meaning, playing with the 3 races on the SP campaign) without the need to buy "expansions"? I really don't care about the multiplayer. I didn't care about it on the older games, and I'll not care for this one too.
