You should do the same thing you'd do with a girl you didn't like.

[QUOTE="Luncbox1"]

[QUOTE="SSCyborg"]The Polar Bears are dieing?SSCyborg

Yeah, because they no longer have any ice to walk on, so they drown in the ocean trying to swim from ice block to ice block.

Temperatures and sea levels rising and whatnot.

In Canada where the temperatures are increasing, the Polar bear population is increasing, and where the temperature decreases the populations are lowering. And that's for 2 species each. The other species in Canada are relatively stable.

*hoping that this doesn't turn into a global warming discussion*

[QUOTE="insomniac_dog"]Guys, if you find my posts offending or 'dark', I apologise deeply, however I feel I must prove my point. If there are any religious people here, I am sorry for my comments, but I am only stating the truth. Believing in a higher power is a respectable belief, but I feel you should not have to devote your entire life to a fictitious being. I am a teenager at the moment, and I have been brought up in an atheist family and strongly agree with the opinions of my parents. Getting back to the actual topic and yes, the TC has made an excellent point, and one that I completely agree with: that the PS3 is our only true friend.Symphonycometh

Just keep the bolded statements to yourself, and I won't turn this into a religious fest. Too tired for it. This goes for the other extremist, Licazinha as well.

If you're too tired to discuss this, go to sleep. And when you wake up, try to review your concept of "extremism" because I would think an extremist would be the one that kills for his beliefs, not the one who discusses his/hers opinions on a forum.

sorry for double post but will people stop with the relativism already! No, you can not disprove the existence of god... or unicorns or fairies, or santa or anything for that matter.

And no, what is called a fact is not the absolute truth. But here's the thing: You can live with the fear that a plane might fall on top of your roof at any second, or you can accept that there's little chance of that happening. In Evolution's case there's less chance of it not being true than there is of a plane falling on top of your roof. So it's a fact simply because of probability.

Creationism replaces evidence and logic with faith, which is somewhat like "I know it's PROBABLY not true but I still have faith that it is"
