So funny that men still think video games are "guy stuff".
I go to school, I have friends, I`m an average student, and the general opinion is, I`m not dorky, geeky, I don`t wear glasses and sit around all day long with my videogames. I have a life, a pretty good one. Games are on the side, and I love them.
And no, I`m not just talking about The sims 2. I`ve played Halo, Tomb Raider, Kabuto, Max Payne, Freedom Fighters, ES Oblivion and other PC games. There was a time I loved real time strategy games. Played all of them. Got sick of them though. My computer is not yet strong enough to play recent games like Crysis, Bio Shock etc. but since I`m planning on buying a PS3 when I have a chance, I`ll just play Assasin`s creed and (I`m dying to play that one) Heavenly Sword... they actually look better. I`m into sword fighting now :P
I`m not sure I currently qualify for "a hardcore gamer" but I don`t really care. I like what I like.
So there. Although there used to be mostly male gamers, the girls are catching up. Not just the dorky ones.
P.S: I hate MMORPGs
