Hmm I had almost forgotten about the Union Awards. I feel that the winners announced received the recognition they deserved and overall am satisifed with the result. Next year I hope our union can win a category.
My union (The Sim Union) has been dead for like a year. It still exists simply because of the small possibility (looking dimmer ever day) of Unions: V2.kruegersc4
Heh, I know as I joined your union a while ago. It was a shame to see such low activity, because it is the biggest sim related union on GameSpot. If you are interested in bringing it back to life perhaps we can give you some pointers.
Like I mentioned on your blog Sentinel, I would also prefer us to keep in touch, even though I don't agree with you 100% about this.

This debate is entirely off-topic, only fanboys brand games as "being the best ever" without accepting the difference in taste of others - that is the issue you should be discussing. Crysis and Halo are irrelevant to this, its just common sense to state that not everybody loves or hates the same games. Just leave it that and get back to the real subject of this thread.
I read your rant and there are some logical arguments in there. Also, I think your idea of paying for upgraded unions is just the kind of encouragement CNET needs to implement this. However, the likelyhood of a staff member seeing your thread is slim, it may be faster to send them a PM.
