For those who haven't seen them, the results are in. I suggest you take a look at the union awards show, so you'll see the results yourself. If not, the contents of this thread will be spoilers to you, so just wanted to make sure you took that notice.
Hmm I had almost forgotten about the Union Awards. I feel that the winners announced received the recognition they deserved and overall am satisifed with the result. Next year I hope our union can win a category.
I think I now realise why my union wasn't considered for the awards. The size (banner is over 2MB)of my images...
But I've started work on new stuff...unanimated stuff. If there are unions by the timethe next Union Awards are on, I'll be ready to bring LD down.

It's not that.... chck the Naruto Union's banner.... it's animated with over 20 scenes..... cool banner but takes ALOT of time to load and it was on the nomination.

If u aim to win the award nxt year I prefer u chck it's banner.
It's not that good. Plus I can't get animations like theirs, cos my union is comic book based, meaning single pictures, where as, they can take aomething out of the show, and animate that. Not as easy for me. I'm just canning animations, and sticking with high quality pics.

Granted but the banner with shows isnt a bad touch. It shows you cover all aspects. TV shows and Comic series since ur home page is comic series based
I thought that the number didn't count, though. Plus, I've done the new banner. Not better, but I'm getting there.

According to me it does since they have what? over 500 posts of over 1000 unions. I bet for much better and quicker awards they just went for the 10 and above most voted because half the list of nominee's I recall were the most voted.

The 5 that went to the next round had the MOST votes in thier catagory thing. there was no set amount of votes needed to move on. some Unions with only 5 moved on.
I'm gonna start a new union, so I can have two types of art, game art, and comic book art. Hopefully next year, if there is an award show next year, will be better.
