@iandizion713: He kills people in the "real world" as I highlighted in my earlier comment. In his vision of the future given to him by the future Flash, he also kills people, snapping their necks and shooting them with guns before he is taken down by a parademon.
I understand that he kills people, Snyder said as much in interviews, I just want a solo Batman movie that delves into how he became so jaded to get to this point. Could make for an interesting character development film, how do you get Batman, who has a no kill rule, to abandon that? I would also wonder that since he has no problem doing that, why is the Joker or any of his other villains not dead as well, especially since the Joker and other villains have a higher than 1% chance of killing innocent people (Joker is more like 100% chance).
@iandizion713: Specific things like the Omega symbol and parademons would indicate a vision of the future brought on by the Flash (in a future armor) in that one instance. It wouldn't make sense any other way.
@iandizion713: it wasn't a dream, it was a vision of the future. How else does that vision include specific things like darkseid symbol and darkseid's demons? flash came back in time, gave him those visions (somehow). That was a vision of the future that Flash is trying to prevent
@iandizion713: He ragdolled a car with people inside, squashed said car on another car, threw people in a room where a grenade went off, shot someone's oxygen tank setting them on fire, used another person's gun to shoot other people, used his grappling hook through someone's chest, branded people with his sign knowing it would kill branded people in jail, uses the batmobile/batwing to shoot people and blow up cars, and is about to kill superman until superman says his mom's name is Martha... like I said, no regard for his enemies lives, except Superman
@barcaazul: depends on what you're looking for. If you expect a lot of substance, you will be disappointed. There is not much character development, motivations are weak, and the primary reason for that is that the movie is just overstuffed. Had they focused on Superman, with a side of Batman and Lex, it could have been great. But since they were juggling so many story threads, if just ends up being a bit messy with little to no resolution for each. The main spectacle of Batman vs Superman is short-lived, poorly executed, with an eye-roll of a resolution.
On the other hand, if you go in expecting nothing but a popcorn flick, eye candy, some cool fight scenes, set up for the future, and your favorite characters on screen, you will be pleased as many are.
Final note, there is more depth to the story that Zach was trying to tell IMO, it is there and you can be happy with what was presented, but also IMO, it was done poorly. Overall though, Batman is pretty awesome, even if it's not comic-book Batman, and it's probably worth watching on the big screen if you are into the spectacle, otherwise wait for bluray release.
Although I found the movie so-so, Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne was the best part of the film. My only complaint in regards to him was not having any regard for his enemies lives, so if this movie is a prequel and let's us know what exactly jaded him to go against his one rule, that'd be nice.
This is ridiculous. Going forward developers will focus on hitting the 1080p box than maybe adding something visually that could lower the res. QB for example is hitting heavy on the particles effects, so there has to be a compromise which is the resolution in this case. I would rather a developer concern themselves more with artistic style and gameplay than the amount of p’s they can hit. The reaction from people and this article will scare off devs from pursuing that since people have made it pretty clear resolution is the most important thing this gen. that will lead to more pretty games with little substance (the order, Ryse). That goes for Sony devs too. You want them to try different things visually that may dip the res without being scared to
What’s happening on the screen is a lot in QB, it may be 720p, but so what? It still looks great (way better than any typical 720p game, because it's 720p but not really due to the temporal reconstruction to make it look higher res), it seemingly plays well, a lot of crazy effects, great character models, and it’s realizing Remedys artistic endeavor for this game. Don’t blame Remedy for limited hardware, praise them for making a game look like this with all these effects on that limited hardware. and if you care so much about this being 1080p, play it and every other game ever on your high end pc.
Bottom line, it doesn't matter because the game still looks great. What's the issue?? The only complaint should be towards the limited hardware of this gen, but I guess with that much complaining that's the reason the big two are already talking about upgraded versions of their hardware.
