@jdlok: looks pretty awesome to me. Remedy games usually are. Not sure I see how it looks generic compared to other games in the genre. Uncharted and Tomb raider are both linear games that look generic, but are still great. A lot of previews mention how much fun they are having with it. I don't limit myself to 1 platform, so i don't look out to see negatives of a game just because it's on one console (xbox or ps4).
Game looks great. Don't understand some of the hate I see for it, some reasons saying its a standard cover shooter and linear. Some of the best games are those things. If it were a PS4 exclusive I bet there would be a diff response.
I think we can come to a middle ground. Games not having microtransactions would be great, but I understand the need for games to have an additional means to garner money. A lot of money is put into these games for many years, and most of the money generated for a game is within the first month of 2 after being released, where they most likely do not recuperate. I want games to continue being made, so I will not be upset when this happens in a way that Halo 5 is doing it. Other egregious ways I will be upset. Halo 5 is not one of those ways, it is an example of a smart way to do microtransactions that doesn't hurt the consumer.
