Why does Gamespot even cover the xbox. No one on their staff even likes the console, so they'll never say many good things about it, more like backhanded compliments. It's like Fox news saying good things about the democratic party.

Loved the first one, excited for this one, just gotta find the time.

Nice. Been wanting to pick up a ps4, but I can wait for PS 4.5, this game will be cheaper by then. I'll especially dive in if sucker punch is making a spiderman game

@louixiii: Completely agree. I just think expectations also play a part in it. In terms of the actual score, and maybe I can never be a reviewer because of the way I see things, but to give this game a 6 is a bit baffling.

The beauty, the production value, the sound, and effort put in to this game alone, not even including the story or gameplay, just scream something higher. I don't think I could give a game where a developer seems to have put that much effort such a low score. But again, that's why I don't think I can be a reviewer because of my thought process, since mostly everything would be a 7 or higher

After BvS my hype for this movie dropped. Maybe it'll pick up steam again close to release

@louixiii: odd choice, but the reasoning was to prevent this game from being a cover shooter, to keep the player on the move and constantly use time powers... in a way, similar to Sunset Overdrive where you couldn't do those things either if I remember correctly, or at the very least you couldn't stand still or hide behind cover, you had to constantly move/grind/jump etc.

i think Gamespot had expectations of a TPS cover shooter (Uncharted, Tomb Raider style), though Remedy always stated that it wouldn't play like that.

In the end I don't think QB deserves a 6, i think the 6 is a result of GS expecting one thing, but getting another, and not liking the change, whereas if GS was actually aware of what Remedy was going for, I think they would have rated it higher.

Good luck to them in having the game be a mega hit. I'm looking forward to playing it myself, would be nice if it were a hit, would start a new franchise to start looking forward to.
