Time travel is dangerous.

Remedy Entertainment has released a new live-action video for Quantum Break that plays up the game's time-travelling theme. This video, presented in a found footage style, shows Dr. William Joyce, played by Lord of the Rings actor Dominic Monaghan, experimenting with a time machine.

Of course, things do not go to plan. "I built a time machine, and it works. I'm going to prove it--or die," William Joyce, the brother of main character Jack Joyce (X-Men's Shawn Ashmore), says in the video. We won't spoil what happens, but be sure to stick through until the end.

Quantum Break's story is told across the game, which focuses on the heroes, and a live-action TV component that tells the story of the villains. There are four TV episodes in all, each of which comes in at around 22 minutes, meaning the whole thing is about the length of a Disney movie.

You can skip them to get back to the game, but developer Remedy hopes you won't. Earlier this week, a new video focusing on the villains was released.

Quantum Break launches for Xbox One and PC on April 5. In other recent news, Remedy has announced the game's PC graphics settings, while the developer has responded to reports about the game's resolution.
