I currently own a 360 and love the lcd monitor I bought for it.  It was much cheaper than an HDTV and still has great quality picture in my eyes.  It has a dvi and vga port.  My question is, I'd like to get a PS3 soon and was wondering if it had any cables compatible with either port so I can still get away with not having to buy an HDTV to enjoy the hardware??  And if not is there any word on a dvi or vga cable coming out?

I think Rev. Albert Mohler is talking from where the sun doesn't shine.

I second this motion, and move to strike.  As in, move to strike this moron rev. with a pineapple in the location previously mentioned he's undoubtedly talking from.    I'm definitely not schooled enough in science to counter his claim, however its painfully obvious this guy is NOT trying to simply help out his fellow man with this "problem"  people are born with.  Its more like he's trying to stamp out people that are in disagreement with his beliefs and is passing along this garbage as "evidence".  His favorite book is probably "1984", and he uses it as a manual for his day to day living.

PS2 DRE much?
Three Lights of Death much?Subcritical

He is right for the most part. I dont have to constantly upgrade my 360 to be able to play the newest games that come out. Same will be with my (future) PS3. With a PC, you need to upgrade your PC every 3 years or so if you want to be able to handle the newest games.

You consider three years to be constant upgrading?  You're joking right?

Ummm...actually yes I would consider that constant if you factor in the amount of money spent each time.

Tell that to my PS2.

Reworking the gears, cleaning the lens, sending it in, then just giving up and selling all my PS2 games about the 10th or 12th time it broke down over the course of 6 years.

I've never done any of that w/ my ps2 and it works fine.  I bought it at launch.  I'm not saying you're wrong in anyway, just giving my own experience.  Ok, I have dusted it off once in awhile.

I love all my systems for so many reasons, so in my eyes this guy lost all credibility when he typed the following....."I did make the mistake of buying the original xbox."  It'd be the same if someone said buying the ps2 was a mistake.  How can you possibly be a gamer and not find a TON of games and other things to like about these consoles.

DADADADADAMAGE CONTROL!duncanvk

Exactly, just because the original poster says this isn't damage control, doesn't mean its no longer damage control.  And I love the twist at the end with the 360 people being "SAD" for jumping on this.

I love my 360 and plan on getting the PS3 and Wii, but cows please just admit this was a loss and move on.

[QUOTE="Uzburacuz9"][QUOTE="The_Gimp07"]

All i'm asking for in this thread is some respect now for the 360. And no more lies and denial from Sony fans. No more of this we never wanted that game and no more that game is not that big.

No one is being fooled be these spin control tactics.

The fact is DMC is a HUGE games that has been a beloved PS exclusive and used by all the COWS for years as an ownage tool.

And for them now to just brush it off as it is nothing is just crazy and just well RIDICULIS.

The_Gimp07

umm..if i remember correctly dmc was later ported to xbox

HUH? was it i don't recall that? If it was then it was i do not remeber that though. i don't think 2 or 3 was are you certin DMC1 was?

At the risk of looking foolish, I must admit, I have never seen that port either.  Can we have some linkage to this??

After seeing the pic, (and laughing) I think if the PS3 continues on its current path  it should be referred to as "Jessica".
