I generally think gothic girls are much nicer than normal girls. Here's why:

1) Goths have a decent outlook on life, and they're not materialistic.
2) They like guys for what they are.
3) They talk about worthwile things, and not who's got the better designer clothes.
4) They don't like rap music.
5) They're not thugs, or slutish.
MARTYB2K

You just named 5 things that my wife is, among many others, and she isn't goth at all. Don't generalize, it never ends up good.

i dont live in a big town but its about 3000 people. im homeschooled and just moved here like 6 months ago. i have neighbors but i dont like them. my dad keeps bugging me to get a girlfriend or just friends. i would like a girlfriend but im nowhere near desperate or anything and im only 15. i keep telling him that once im 16 and i have a car i will go out and make friends and meet a girl but he doesnt beleive me. should i just lie about making friends and make 1 up?

sonicrush128

Don't make anything up, you don't have to have a gf.  Sure you should want to have friends and a gf, but if you don't that doesn't mean anything is wrong its just not the time for that. Relationships are a big part of life, but don't try to force them, you'll get an opportunity until then take the time you have alone to figure stuff out, you know, about yourself.

And this proves that capcom using extras to milk its fans is a failure

RE4 for the GC the only real way to play RE4.

Still gonna pick it up though since it's cheaper.

KenTa_613

How does the score prove that?  First, your fanboyism of RE4 for the GC is just ridiculous, the PS2 is just fine, along with added content, which is very good quality, and for people only with a PS2 it gives them a chance to finally play it.  Two, if someone has already played DMC3, they can read all about this new version before they buy it, so if they don't feel its worth the second time around thats their fault for purchasing it, and just like RE4 for those of us who haven't played DMC3 yet, its a great game w/ more content.  I just don't see how capcom is milking anyone.

The Sony Playstation 2 was the first to implement this. I have used it, probably 10-15 times over 5-6 years.
It might make old games look better, but that is the thing it's still the same old game.
A way of hold on to the past and making it seem more than it's worth. It's become more or less then a gimmick.

Sure the Xbox 360 has Backwards Comp, But that job is for my black old xbox, which is right now still plugged in
but collecting dust as we speak. Not to mention the BC is horrid on the 360. Why even included if it has all these
issues?
And lastly The Revolution, with NES, SNES, N64 and Gamecube.
I'm sure many Nintendo fans has all these systems stashed away somewhere are still have it plugged in.
Oh yeah thats Donkey Kong Country alright pushing 16 bit on my shiny new rev.:P
Oh the Nostagical is there and in full force.
But sometimes we as gamers have to let go of the past inorder to fully embrace the future.
the best is yet to come.

And those memories of those past games "good times" were prolly 1000x sweeter than those games ever were.

The memories and that is what they should be FF7 and alot of other games did not age well.
Bastard360

I agree, I don't care about BC either, I always have my older consoles, but as far as FF7 not aging well, I'd have to to disagree on that one.

[QUOTE="elie05"]

What is the most overhyped series of all time?

Overhyped, as in: is hyped quite a lot but fails to deliver every time.

I'm thinking The Legend Of Zelda series, The Halo series, and The Metroid Prime series.

gamingfreak47

once agian its another nintendo series you bash fanboy, In my oppinion its halo but has awsome multiplayer and co'op as a perk, and GTA Its an awsome gaming series but GTA SA didnt really feel any different than GTA VC

Ya, right off the bat it isn't a good thread do to his ridiculous one-sided opinion.  Hmmm.....look at the series he named, and his sig.  1 + 1 = fanboy.  I can't really think of any major series that hasn't delivered with at least one of its games.

And, by the time I have to drop another 600 dollars on my pc, it would be the same as dropping another 600 for the next gen of consoles.  I do plan on having both, but the dollar amount is just not that big of deal to consider pc gaming so useless as many of you claim.

For those hermits that say PC has better gaming than consoles, you are correct. To bad you had to invest $1600 or more dollars to make it happen. Start saving up another $600 dollars cause you know in a year or two a new video cards will come out to make your current one obslete.

FragStains

you do understand that when a new videocard comes out, there arent little video card elves that go around to peoples homes and put elven dust onyour current video card and make it slower than it was the day before, right?  just because a new card comes out, doesnt mean its worth buying.  i dont usually buy another video card until at least a year after its release simply because the one i would have at the time still does it job perfectly and by that time those '$600' video cards are around 250-300, if that much.

Good point, and even though its been said soooo many times already, I'll say it again, you do NOT have to drop that much money into a gaming rig if you're smart.  Those prices are for top of the line parts that you're referring to, that you do not need to play games, even recent ones.  I play CoD 2 on everything high with a 1024x720 res. and I don't have the top of the line system by any means.

Its Bluetooth, my dear noob not controller ports.Heishiro

Ha, can you imagine if it wasn't though and you could only play with  the set number of 7 people, say on Madden.

"Ok Bob, ummmm, you're going to have to be the kicker.  Its 3 on 3 and we've got this extra controller so....."

"Oh come on, I hate being the kicker..."

"Sorry, Bob, you know the rule, the last person to show up has to be the kicker."

By the way, I do plan on getting a PS3, its just having that extra controller scenario seemed funny to me.

I wouldn't give you too much advice just cause I don't know your situation, but the main thing is that hating your father doesn't make you weird or anything.   All I can say is be fair about him.  If you did something you know was not good, don't hate him for yelling at you.  If he's mean for no reason, then ya you shouldn't have to deal with that.  The trick is deciding if what he did was fair even if it meant you got in trouble.  Try to understand why he does what he does.  Whatever you come up with is your answer, just remember people can always change too.
