Ya I put the brightness down to around 30 and I also played around with the contrast but even then my eyes and head starts to hurt after like 1 or 2 hours of looking at the monitor. As for my CRT monitor I can look at it all day with the light on or off in my room and it doesn't hurt as much or give me headaches. It's to late to get use to it now cause I don't have it anymore.

Also when looking at my LCD TV it hurts my eyes a bit more then it does with my old tube tv. I guess I have a problem with LCDs which I know I'm not the only one. I'm on my computer EVERYDAY for long hours lol.

I had the same monitor as kodex1717 (LG 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor L196WTQ-BF), and when playing Counter-Strike: CZ I had higher FPS on the highest resolution that I can pick and lower FPS on the lower resolution. LOL doesn't make any sense at all. Sadly I had to return the monitor and stick with my 17" Compaq 7550 CRT monitor (which I see lot's of on other peoples computers) because the LG was hurting my eyes to much :P.

I bought that monitor not to long ago. It didn't come with a DVI cable so I had to buy one. It's a really nice monitor but I had to return it because it was hurting my eyes more then my CRT monitor. I guess I'm not use to LCD screens or higher resolution then 1024x768.

P.S. How is the monitor? Is it hurting your eyes as well?

Thanks guys. I'm going to call my local shop to see when they have the Wii in stock. What I'm buying so far are those ASiD TECH HD PRO Wii Component Cable for my 32" widescreen HDTV so I can get the most out of the Wii. I guess I'll also buy the WiiParty since it comes with an extra controller and I'll also by an extra nunchunk. I'll also get one of those Duracell chargers at my local shop that seem to be a really good charger for its price.

Never was a big fan of online stuff and I won't be buying point cards any time soon, but since the online feature is FREE on the Wii I guess I'll play online with others (I have a silver account on my 360 cause I'm not a big fan of online play plus paying a fee).

Thank you all for the replies any further info is greatly appreciated!

Wow thanks for the quick reply! I hear lot's of talk about Mario Galaxy. If I'm not a BIG fan of Mario will I still enjoy the game? Also what about accessories? Maybe I should get a battery charger for the controller?

We should be getting more in stock again here in Canada very soon. I want to buy one but before I do I want to know if Nintendo is doing any major updates or any thing I should know before buying it as soon as it's in stores again. What kind of accessories should I get when I buy it? Which 1 game should I also get when I get the Wii?

The reason why I'm buying it is because I want to be able to play with friends and family and the swinging the controls around seems pretty fun to me. That's also one big obvious reason why I'm buying it.

This is exactly what I despise about a game with a monthly fee: it tends to become compelling. Since you are paying every month, you kind of feel you have to spend time with it to make it worth the fee. I'm not saying the game isn't fun or that you never genuinely feel like playing, but it happens you find yourself playing the game when you don't really feel like it, which is crazy.

I don't agree this is the course of MMO's, I have been playing GW (I'm not comparing the games here, or hyping GW, this is only about monthly fee vs free to play) for a couple of years, and it feels different... the clock is not running, you have already paid and you are free to enjoy the game whenever you feel like it... basically you can relax and not thik about moneysiafni

That's exactly how I feel about it too. I'm not saying Guild Wars is better then WoW cause they both have there advantages and disadvantages, I'm just saying that I don't want to pay a monthly fee and find out later that I'm not playing it as much. Sure ya 15 bucks is cheap and all but if your not even playing it don't you think your just wasting money? My copy of Guild Wars is just lying down gaining dust. Like siafni said, "you have already paid and you are free to enjoy the game whenever you feel like it". I rather not be forced to play a game, that's why I picked Guild Wars.

If you can't find the serial number you could always go and pick up Counter-Strike: Anthology for cheap. It has the old Counter-Strike as well as CS: Condition Zero which I play the most just because it has a bit better graphics.

Well I haven't played Mafia in along time but I think I know which level your talking about. It's the one with the boat right? Anyway ya he's in the boat at the very top I think. On the left side there will be a door but there is two bodyguards protecting him so you won't be able to enter I think. What you have to do is be on the boat and just wait till he comes out and makes the speech. He will be on stage where the band was playing. It takes a bit of time but just wait for him. Make sure you go to the very top of the boat passed the bodyguards just incase cause that's what I did.

I hope that helps, as I said I haven't played it in along time so that's just off the top of my head.

EDIT: Sorry but I think pdkkbarnes1 is right. I checked on google and it did say something about a warehouse. I must be thinking of another level. Sorry.
