I've heard that the game can take up to 20 hours to beat .. and considering I'm the sort of gamer that likes to explore, I think this game should be of good value to me.

hitmanlee

there is a lot to collect. and it's nice to do so. i even like the hacking.

What, exactly, do you hack? You can hack bots .. cameras (I think?) .. turrets .. Also, how do you hack them? A mini-game sort of thing?

yeah. it's like that old pipe dream game where you put the fragments of pipe together. you can aut-hack them as well by using an autohack or paying $$. the downside is the difficult ones can be impossible to do manually because they're generated at random, so it can get frustrating.

it was okay. too short, too liniar, barely a story which you have no direct control over, and no replay value other than stellar graphics and sound and achievements. i also found most the plasmids to be useless. it lost it's luster to me just after the 2nd mission. i wish it had more cut scenes like the teaser, but you don't. but, what can you expect from an fps. it's worth playing through once, though i'd rent it first. it'll only take you about 12-14 hours to get through.

Also try a Game Crazy if any are about. They've always been good at tracking stuff down for me. Amazon works well, and e-bay when your desperate. I'd also ty any small game/video store you might have in your area that deals with new & used games.

Like so many before me, I say Leaf Green and Emerald. I'm not a huge Pokemon fan, but I enjoyed those games.

All day today I've been getting this error when trying to upload a user video:

Fatal error: Smarty error: the $compile_dir '/tmp/templates_c/' does not exist, or is not a directory. in /opt/php/lib/Smarty-2.6.16/libs/Smarty.class.php on line 1095

_Sam_

when does that error come up?

It happens before the form that allows you to browse for your video and upload it. Though now, I get that form and and progress to the usual "now uploading" page where it eventually turns into this after a few seconds:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, gs-bill@gamespot.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.Error

I haven't really done anything other than try to submit a video.

Anyone know about Silent Hill that can be played on GBA? 'coz I like horror games very much (unfortunately GBA doesn't have horror games... )

weaksoulfallen

There's only one Silent Hill game on the GBA and it's an interactive novel. It' only available in Japan. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a fan translation floatin around somewhere if you decide to get it.

with it off, hold down both the A and B buttons.

while holding the buttons, turn on the power.

when the nintendo logo appears, keep holding A and B and hold down SELECT and START.

Keep hoding down the buttons until the screen stating the Action Replay isn't affiliated with Nintendo then release them. It should now be reset to factory defaults. You'll have to put your codes back on it.

Hope this helps.

the micro is cute, but i can't play my older gb titles on it, so it's the SP all the way.
