Would you feel that way if Peter had his son go on camera and demand a sequel to a porn movie ? Now I agree parents should have final say on what their own children are exposed too entertainment wise as long as the parent is showing good judgement. I would say that allowing your 10 year old son to play a game that is rated M for Mature is not exactly showing good judgement though. If the kid had been around 13/14 it wouldn't have been an issue and yes I could understand letting a teenager play Mature games. However this kid is barely 10 and it is extremely bad judgement on the parents behalf to allow a 10 year old child access to adult entertainment.

When I was 8-9 I found my dad old forgotten stash of porn mags, I immidiately told my younger brother and we spent the next couple of nights looking at them in curiosity then it layed dormant for some years up to the time I had the irrisistable need to touch myself, at which time the mags were used in the way it was meant to be ; so at 8 they were not much more than eyecandy... what if my dad made a video of me looking at them or requesting the newer version?!

Nature kick in then the need come, not early exposition brings the need earlier.

FPS: Doom is on top. System shock brought game integration to a new level. Quake brought vertical freedom to me but I'm not sure of the impact to the whole industry... I'd say skip to both Half-Life, both brought new life into the genre.

RPG: Ultima & Diablo.

RTS: I haven't followed the genre much but for me Alpha Centauri (SMAC) made an incredible impact with the politic and the different ways to win a game, very refreshing!

[QUOTE="marcogamer07"]

Bioshock is AWFUL. Have had so many problems with that port.

No dude just no. Bioshock runs perfectly. Sounds like your PC is to blame.

Same here, it was AMAZING! The controls and rendering and technicalities, not as a critique.

Tried downloading again? (maybe download is corrupt)FelipeInside

Before redownloading, see if therE's a way for you to verify it's checksum/hash (CRC, MD5, SHA1, ...).

Perhaps the title should've started with "For Pokemon fans" or "For early teenagers" because my interest with the franchise didn't last long and I didin't care if it died after that. Although I do appreciate Pickachu plushy packpacks when I see one, I wouldn't be sad to not see one anymore.

I'm not sure what you're proposing here.WhiskeyBlade55

Ok let's suppose the new unions of the week are the following

  • potato eaters
  • dog lovers
  • pop drinkers
  • planet smashers
  • orange pressers
  • out to drink everyday
  • enjoying art
  • car drivers
  • cat lovers
  • egg crackers
  • nature lovers

Now the following union watchers were created by me before those unions came up (explaining it in bold then followed by its results) :

  1. terms "love OR enjoy OR like", frequency weekly
    • dog lovers
    • enjoying art
    • cat lovers
    • nature lovers
  2. terms "alcohool OR drink OR beer OR whiskey OR martini", frequency daily
    1. day X
      • pop drinkers
    2. day Y
      • out to drink everyday

First the answer is: own a great video card.

The point of gaming is having fun, not impress your acquaintances (friends surely don't care if you can't even play Solitary nor Tetris) nor be the best on a multiplayer server nor become skilled nor better at solving puzzles. Fun is the keyword, anything else is secondary. Of course if you have fun at killing more and more difficult opponents or solving more difficult puzzles, then why not. But if you're not having fun at it, I strongly suggest you stop what you're doing and either find other games, make it easier (either by choosing the mode or using cheats) or find another hobby.

I don't like to cheat in games but when I find things that aren't logic, I use them. For example in Oblivion I could bring a horse with me so why couldn't I put carry bags on it or use a trailer? Unlogic! So I gave myself (for free using the console) very strong potions that allowed me to put on me hundreds of pounds of equipment however, I only used them from the pile next to the exit door up to a store or a house so it was the same effect as if I had a trailer for my horse, I still had to bring the loot by normal methods of going back & forth or using potions I paid for from aaaaaaall the way down the dungeons up to the exit door.

You can use the same logic, imagine you're in easy mode and you still think there should be a very easy mode 2/3 the difficulty of that the either cheat your way out of getting protection a 1/3 higher than what you'd get at that point in that game (ie: you get an armor +4, don't pick that up and give yourself for free a +6 one) or cheat killing a 1/3 of your opponents (there's often a command that drop dead an opponent with a single line, ie: instakill, set health 0, ...), the first method of adding an extra 1/3 protection seem better to me. And if 2/3 of easy is still too tough, go to 1/2, perhaps your next game you can handle 2/3 !

And remember: Have fun! ;)
