Multiplayer a Must!! If not. An appealing storyline.

Games Ive played but don't want to play.

Dragon Age Origins (can't play it due to a memory leak bug)

Champions online (wasn't what I expected.. good game tho)

Diablo II (I played this for years.. need something new)

Torchlight (interested in this game but played the Demo... Seems like the story isn't that good)

World of Warcraft (I have 5 level 80's.. I am bored)

Anyone know of a RPG that is point and click, hack n slash? Levels, monsters, weapons, story, multiplayer.

Someone help me out.

i second Titanquest, pick up the gold edition for cheap and expect 50+ hrs in the single player campaign and tonnes of fun to be had in multiplayer as well ;)
if not the sacred 2 fallen angel is an option but its either a hit or miss, some love it, some hate it......i personally enjoyed it

heres a review of Titanquest i wrote with screens and heres one i wrote for sacred 2 with screens

Dragon Age Origins, perchance?

If not that, definitely some iteration of Neverwinter Nights.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption - Despite been toot old (Game of 2000) it's really a wonderful monster slashing game for sure that you're looking for. Just don't read the critics reviews before playing the game but to go for the reviews of the max users as users are 100 times better to judge a game than the critics.

You should try Lord of the Rings Online it sounds perfect for you. It's not hack and slash but ticks all the other boxes.

Your timing is perfect it went free to play a week ago. Head over to http://www.lotro.com/free.php? and try it out.

Other than that I would have said Torchlight from the Steam Store but you said that doens't ring your bell.

I'm not really a fan of hack n slash, but one that I liked was Space Siege. Probably because it's in space and has weapons and stuff :P

No, they're not! Professional critics have or should have the journalistic experience and gaming experience to write a more competent, thoughtful article. They're an elite, the connoisseurs of gaming, heroes of a kind.... User reviews don't usually match up to that standard.

You can't go wrong with Titan Quest: Immortal Throne.

The best way to describe Titan Quest is Diablo II improved in almost every single way.

You can easily log 200+ hours into Titan Quest without running out of things to do or

armor sets to collect.

The game is getting old now but the graphics, in my opinion, are still better looking than whats

been shown for Daiblo III. The physics engine in Titan Quest makes the hack and slash aspect of the game infinitely

more enjoyable. Landing a big crit on an enemy and watching him fly 100ft back never gets old.

There are many classes and subclasses to choose from so after you get done with a play though

with one class there's a lot of incentive to play the game again as another class.

The game is cheap and you should be able to pick up both Titan Quest and Immortal Throne for $30.

Again, this game is an easy recommendation for anyone who enjoyed playing the Diablo series.

Yeah there's still 20 or 30 games running during the night. The only problem that you might have is that the player base has become stagnate and everyone will probably be lv 40+. Everyone so often you'll find new start up games, but they don't represent the majority. The good news is that after about 20 hours in the single player you should be high enough to play in half of the servers running.

I was going to give Sacred 2 a shot as well. However, from what i've read in the reviews, you seem to wander aimlesslyfrom one side quest to the other without a real sense of progress besides level and gear. Waiting for additional oppinions and might give it a try.

Oh, and as said, Titan Quest is loads of fun if you like hack'n'slash games.
