I finally created a forum signature unfortunately it was too big and its resize was cropping some part so I made a new version and read in the FAQ the 2nd version was just a bit larger so I uploaded a 3rd version but it seem it won't let it upload ; in fact the URL (Uploaded Image URL) display the 1st version. I even tried uploading something that looked completely different (but still fit the limit) but it doesn't change the URL neither the content it shows after a complete refresh (shift+refresh).

Thank you kindly for your help

Update1:

When I uploaded a new version it also rolled back the layout of the signature. Could it be that the signature URL was simply reverted alongside?

Adding to other lists really does belong on the gamespace - you can add to your wishlist from there still, why not the others too?

EDIT: And having used the button in the search, it's still auto-following anyway.

- Grim Fandango. - Sam and Max. - Gray Matter.harry_james_pot

Although those are 3D, do they have constraints? For example, only have access to a hotel bar, lobby & 3rd floor also can't go in the street so location change is done clicking on a map ; example taken from Post Mortem.

The closest thing I can think of (and it's pushing it) might be games like the Penumbra series or even maybe Amenisia. Somewhat 3D, you interact with your environment, and you solve puzzles. Not much npc involvement though. Just an idea.slabber44

That look pretty sweet! Thanks. :)

The 3D and the adventure aspects were the most important ; the NPC interactions I described were to specify my idea of adventure as some may think bashing a crowbar through a zombie skull as adventure. I'd welcome any more suggestion along what I'm looking for.

F*** this option! For me it backlashed as I removed all the items in there except for upcoming games that I'm really hyped about.

In my case they were trying to shoved that option down my throat but it's even worse for them, I had a dozen items and it's down to 2 and beleive me I'm REALLY hyped about the remaining 2 or there would be none. So that option caused a -10 for my acount ; I was tired of what the annoyance just added in there and what was genuinely added.

So... you want kind of a mix between adventure and sandbox I take it?

cain006

That would be ideal but it could be stages as well ; as in limited 3D space, like a neighborhood or a block of flats.

The only 3D adventure game I played were quite old and GPU were almost unheard of at that time so it included 360 panoramas with "hotspots" (clickable). The problem with that is I couldn't move exactly were I wanted ; I was sometime stuck before or after and left or right the 3D point I wanted and there was no real roaming as in fluid exploring (like walking). When I play sandbox RPGs, I often wander around for hours in god-mode just zapping anything that get in the way wishing there was missions that just invloved light tasks, not action nor skill (jumping between blocks), especially if it would involve interaction with or between NPCs like bringing a message or cheering someone's acqauintance.

I don't know any games like that but some good adventure games are Machinarium, Adventures of Monkey Island, and any Telltale game.

I thought Monkey Island was 2D ; are other games 3D?

The multiplayer part is optionnal. I was hoping for some screen at my "base" or "home" showing some related content, hopefully a forum but perhaps a feed. Or perhaps some other changing elements, just so the game has something more than just replay value. I wasn't expecting any MMO, those seem to be RPG and action oriented but I'm looking for adventure. There can be other elements but roaming and puzzle-solving (hopefully through interaction with NPC) should be at the heart of the game ; I like it when the parts I need to get involved ("solve") is mysterious.

Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 1/2, Fallout 3/New Vegas, more or less, but what you want doesn't exist,DanielDust

Are the games you posted adventure? I thought those were RPG and action?

I'd like to play a 3D adventure PC game and can put a few dollars for that but I don't know where to start. I'm not a fan of the genre but I've tried Myst and a couple story-based adventure.

In all those games, you were free to take actions in pretty much any order you wanted, but the action themselves were automated ; I'd prefer to have free reign about where exactly I do an action.

The closest I've experience what I'd like as an adventure game is when I take a RPG (video game) and render enemies/monsters almost harmless (I'd need to not move for 2 minutes to be harmed enough to be worried. After that I don't use the game (RPG) stories which also include a lot of battle, but I make up my own stories and try to achieve it through game mechanics but if I can't, I'll create my own system. So it's pretty much exploring with some easy problems to solve.

I'd prefer a multi-player game, but more realistically there won't be enough people so perhps have in-game mechanics resembling forums allowing for actions ot be delayed but not addind any in-context delay.

Thanks for your suggestions

It is very annoying!

As stated here:
