You know why modern military shooters are the in-thing? Because everyone was sick n' tired of WWII military games that flooded the market before them. Screw WWII.

Frikking cripes no. I was just dissing this game on GT because of how boring it has become. I tried playing T5 the other day and couldn't even stand it after about 10 minutes because it's the same thing over n' over again. Search for pop-up. Juggle. Dead. Pop-up. Juggle. Dead.

And they wanna make a SEVENTH version of this? -_- I used to love Tekken. If I were to be straight up---the game is a joke now. So many players are just different skins of other players with the same moves. From what I've seen of the new fighters in T7 I can tell you exactly what previous character their moves came from (and even ones that still use them) not counting their weak attempts and making a 'unique' character with a few flash special moves.

Spare me Harada/NAMCO. And please stop.

in my 20's, early 30's felt perfectly normal. at 40 i feel like im pretty old and past that normal point though lol.

Normal? What's the matter OLD MAN---you getting self-conscious on us for no good reason? Gaming is the largest entertainment industry right now and I don't see anything beating it out in our lifetime. I'm 38 and I feel fine blowing little kids up across internetz.

LOL.

@DuaIFace: who keeps "trying to mass market it"? I don't see any commercials, do you?

It is a cash grab. Whether you agree with it or not. See the entire 'virtual reality' history.

It parallels 3D movies almost. Becomes a thing. Disappears. Gets slightly better. Disappears. Again and again. Seeing this over n' over again in the last 30 years---the pattern becomes obvious. It's unfortunate stigma has become: 'temporary toy'.

I stand by the remark that until it gets to the level of a Holodeck, no one will really care. Niche groups will. Not the mass market. Which still has me wondering what the hell Facebook thinks they're gonna accomplish with it. -_-

I agree. It's a gimmick. For the mass audience.

Not for niche groups. And that's it's main flaw currently. They keep trying to mass-market it. Stop. Just stop please. Only niche groups will ever care enough to buy/invest and that's fine.

The only 'mass awareness' it'd ever get, and we all already know this, is when it gets to the level of the Holodeck from StarTrekTNG and shows up as some part of a Steven Spielberg's GameWorks (if it still exists that far in the future), ect.

OP complains about fighting games, but wants a fighting game. LOL

OP does not realize that all the AI to ever exist in fighting games....is based on human input/patterns. I've never once come across a fighting game, no matter it's absurd difficulty, that you're not able to exploit it's AI---obscenely even.

I have no sympathy for you OP. Is that why you made this thread? For sympathy?

What kind of simpleton quits a hobby because of possible relationship starting up? You can't do both?

LOL, what is wrong with people!? -_-

I forgot to mention:

When this game is being played by actual players and not this previously set up video to put on showcase, based on Big Boss's updated movement speed---games are gonna be HELLA fast-paced. I wonder how easy/difficult it'll be on this one to master headshots from anywhere on the map? That was my most loved part of the original MGO.

No Playboys!? Awww man.... ^_^

The only difference in MGO3 that I'm seeing compared to the previous 2, is the maps are finally bigger/open. But, not by much. Looks like there's still special characters per team (Ocelot), and plenty of hilarious hijinks.

Couldn't tell for certain but it looks also like it'll be 8V8 again in full TDM.

I been imagining, based on whatever environs we seen in the full MGSV experience, we'll see mirrored to some degree in online VS. I seriously hope the controls from MGS4/MGO2 are completely gone. That's why I refused to ever attempt getting competitive in that one.

Goddamn I miss the original PS2/MGO.

EXACTLY ! ! ! Man I've been waiting for somebody to say that. I honestly don't get why people insist that the controls in fighting games must be such a hassle to figure out.

For a very long time now. I mean like, almost forever, fighting games (on console/whatever) have had not only their moves listed in the game's case booklet, but moreso now in the in-game menus. Everything is written down for you.

Or maybe you're talking about something else....
