@m4a5: It's not that they made a mobile game. It's that they thought it was a brilliant Idea to hype it up months before announcing it and then announce it in front of thousands of paying fans who absolutely had an expectation that they were being ushered into a giant conference to be shown something exciting. They weren't and they got angry. You don't rent out a massive venue and get people to pay to come to announce a mobile game. That's a really stupid idea. You announce something like this on twitter and on your website or something, you don't treat it like it's an E3 conference.

I'll save you all from the nonsense PR and corporate speak. I'll translate this into common for you: "We really want to make lots and lots of money from microtransactions on the back of a known IP while spending as little money and effort as possible".

I just saved you 20+ paragraphs of utter BS.

@Xristophoros: What? PS1 emulation is a joke to do. Raspberry pi's can manage it. Never mind PC emulation which has basically been perfect for the better part of a decade. I mean there was commercially available PS1 emulators available back in the 90's you could buy in stores that worked decently.

RPG's excluded the big popular PS1 games people remember don't really hold up. The great games that you can still play now and enjoy aren't likely to actually be the ones that end up included here. I guess playing butt ugly clunky fighting games, racers and early 3D platformers just isn't all that appealing to me. Unless the thing is stacked with RPG's (of which the PS1 has plenty) most of this is just going to be pain ;p

It's obviously a cheap ploy to get people cheering for Reigns. The problem is the dude is supposed to be a face but getting your friends to help you cheat is a straight up heel move. Now you have Brawn doing the EXACT same thing to even the odds and were supposed to boo that? They did it backwards. Brawn should have sneak attacked 3 on 1 then you have the Shield reform to fight Brawn's new 3 man troupe. This isn't rocket science. Then you're heel doesn't look like he's in the right and you still get to use the cheap pop of having the shield back in play to cover up for the crowds distaste of Reigns.

I like the shield but how they've done this whole thing makes no sense.

I sure hope they do. While Yakuza 3/4/5 aren't impossible to find or anything some of them are on the more expensive side for the PS3 ones because I guess the releases were fairly limited. So having a remake/remaster easily available for modern consoles or PC would be nice. Honestly they wouldn't need to do much would they? They are all PS3 games so just bump it up to 1080/4k and give us 60 fps gameplay and ship it out.

At only 20 bucks a year it's not the worst thing ever but I really wish nintendo would quit over valuing their roms. They need to come to terms with the fact that anyone with internet and 5 minutes on google can play anything they've ever released in an emulator. Not to mention people have been buying and re-buying these titles across 3 consoles now.

If they offered a netflix for old nintendo games and basically dumped everything they have the rights to dump all at once people would lose their minds and it might even sell a few consoles. Everyone already has access to their entire library online so they should just give people a legal way to do the same thing. It's NEVER going to happen but it would be nice.

Instead they will continue to do stuff like this which isn't awful but isn't getting anyone all that excited to pay for yet ANOTHER online "service".

Again what was the point of wrestlemania 33's big undertaker retirement match that HEADLINED that show? Then they just have him come back the next year like nothing happened. Just let the man fade away. I love the guy but if the match goes for more then a few minutes he looks awful. It's why that Cena match was a squash match, let him get all his signature moves in then get him the hell out.

I'm not looking forward to two dudes well past their prime lumber around a ring for 10-20 minutes before one of them collapses into a casket gasping for air.

@lionheartssj1: Almost all summer blockbusters make the majority of their money in the first two weeks. Even well received movies have 50-60% drop offs weekend to weekend these days. 3 weeks in Infinity war will probably barely be cracking the top 5.

Does it? All I saw was a bunch of fan service crap in service of a story no one really asked for. That's not even counting that apparently the lead needed to get acting lessons (why cast him then? it's not like he's the spitting image of Ford) and the whole thing basically being redone after they fired the first directors for having the audacity to try and make it fun.

If this turns out to be anything other then average, I'll be shocked. Honestly I think that can just be said about anything going forward SW related. Love or hate it but Last Jedi took a chance and it did not pan out leaving people split down the middle and making significantly less then Force Awakens. So going forward it's going to be nothing but the Force Awakens style fare, absolutely passable but nothing particularly interesting or original.
